Same here... This is frustrating me :( Most of the 19th orders were already fulfilled but i'm still stuck here... Sigh... If I ordered just a few hours before on that day...

Yeah, for 2 days before I ordered I was just taking my time, contemplating whether to get the galaxy s3 or ip5.... wish I would have just put in the order a little earlier.... if only I had known!

But that sucks that even though you ordered on 19th it didn't process til the 21st. Cause other people ordered that day and processed same day or the 20th at least. It's unfortunate that you weren't part of that batch. But hopefully we are next in line and don't have to wait too much longer.....

Well guys :)
Here's my story

9/21-ordered 16gb black iPhone 5
10/4- switched to pending shipping
10/8- talked to a CSR claiming that most iPhones won't ship till november
(I was soooooo frustrated)
10/11- called CSR telling me the same thing and that she cant tell me an exact shipping date.
I was ready to cancel by this time but just gave the order 2 more days. I checked yesterday 10/12 and it was still backordered. Well, as of today...... I checked like 1hr ago and it was still backordered :c then I checked like 10-15 minutes ago just for the hell of it to find out........

IT'S NOT IN BACKORDER NO MORE <3 So i hopefully will be receiving it next week. All the 21st orders are starting to move so hang in there :)
 
I ordered my two iPhone 5 64G black on 10.09.2012 and both arrived on 10.12.2012. Employee states perhaps the reason our phones arrived sooner than if I had ordered the 16GB or 32GB is there my not be much demand for the 64GB model.
 
I think all the 21st orders are shipping soon because I'm no longer on back order either! ^_^. Been a long wait. I'm sure it will be worth it

Ah yes, I am a 32GB White however... Oh Well..
 
I ordered 2 black 16gb iP5's on 9/22, obviously they are both still on BO but I have read a few posts of people reporting there 9/21 orders are coming off BO so it is look hopeful that I might get them sometime next week.

I ordered 9/26 one 16GB black and one 16GB white
Both on BO with ship dates for 10/16/10/24
Went in AT&T store to buy some cases and asked if they could check my order..
AT&T associate said my order was shipped but AT&T site says still BO'd
 
At last!

Hi all-

Thought I'd update one last time before bidding farewell to this entertaining thread. Ordered a 32GB black on 9/24 through a CSR over the phone, processed same day, came off backorder yesterday, and just got my FedEx tracking number for delivery on Monday! Best of luck to those still waiting for progress. Hope you get your iPhones soon!
 
For those who asked what color/ capacity it was the 16 GB black. I feel the 21st orders are getting taken care of now.

PS. i had an iphone 4S purchased 6 months ago, was eligible for early upgrade (additional $250 + upgrade price). Called in to see what they could do about the $250. after some CALM conversations, they credited my account $250 so essentially no early upgrade fee. when i activated my iphone 5, the iphone 4s was technically off contract, so they unlocked it. if the customer service rep will not agree to waive the early upgrade fee of $250, hang up, try again. hope that helps anyone.

In most cases that's what happens. But some people have been off backorder with no shipping info for a few days or more occasionally. Unfortunately it isn't an exact science. But I would expect it to ship 1-2 business days later.

Well, I guess it's just the black 16gb because I'm still on BO. White 16's..... boooooo..... we're always the last ones standing....

Same here. I had a 5 on release day, had horrible issues, and had to return bc there's none in stock here in Columbus area. So now I reordered from ATT, and it will be early/mid November until I get my new one :(

So will it sit showing "Processing" until the order is getting ready to ship?

It will show "processing" until it Ships.

Awww so we are in the exact same boat... Same here, if my uncle had ordered at like 7pm or something it would have been better, but instead he ordered at 9pm =_= Along with another white and black.

Yeah it didn't make any sense :( My mom's was ordered on the 20th and was processed on the same day, how could that be? Oh wells at&t never really makes sense anyway. Maybe 9pm was considered the 20th lol. Or maybe there were too many people who ordered on the 19th so they had to push mine behind... I think we will be soon tho cuz i'm seeing 21st movements :)

Nothing :( It seems like the black ones are moving but the white ones are stuck... And I ordered a white one... But my cousin ordered a black one and it's still on BO so idk...
