Ordered Friday morning, can't remember exact time, but before noon. Got my "As early as 9/21" email, but;

-My Card has not been charged by ATT at all. Nothing pending.
-Have not received a TOS email either.
-ATT.com 'My Orders' page won't work no matter what combination I use to access it
-ATT.com still says my line has an upgrade available

I'm fairly confident I wont die, or my life won't all of a sudden suck if I dont get my phone on 9/21, but now I'm just curious as to why my credit card has no action.

I went to Best Buy Friday morning AFTER I placed my preorder via ATT.com

BB showed me how my activation date for my renewal was active as of 9/14 and I couldnt get the upraded price at BB.

That being said, something is wrong with your 'upgrade'. Id call ATT ASAP
 
has anyone of you ordered the iPhone at 11:45cst or equivalent time in other region and noticed the "backorder" changed from 1 to 0?

also i've been reading about the cancel button? where can i find that cancel preorder button? i don't have it on my account.

Me! I ordered about an hour earlier than you and my first order changed to 0 last night and the second one changed to 0 this morning.
I have been having trouble accessing my order status on the premier website so I just check on the regular att order status. I'm guessing the cancel button is on the premier website.

Out of curiosity, when you received your confirmation e-mail, what was the estimated delivery time?
 
When I received my confirmation mail, there was not any delivery or shipping date?? what does that think.

when i made an order on att.com, my current email i'm using there was outdated. i had no time to update it so i just went through it. i didn't get the email, but the page said i have a 9/21 delivery date. i updated the email the next day and will ask a representative to resend me the confirmation email.

my CC has a pending amount from att though. i'm hoping it will clear today. cross fingers.

but if i won't get the 9/21 delivery, i'm sure i'll still live. :) but this is the first time i preordered an apple item that i will not get on day one.

are you guys selling your iPhone 4 or 4S? if so, try to officially unlock yours by an att representative to increase the value of the phone. i got my 4 and 4S officially unlocked. no jailbreak needed. ^_^
 
Ordered an iphone 5 32 gb black through AT&T premier at approximately 330 am pst. My card has a pending charge of only 299.00, should I be worried?

sorry if i'm kinda changing the topic, but to answer the question, yes. i actually got my two 4 and one 4S unlocked a couple of days ago. they will unlock the phones that were associated with an att account.

The only way I was able to chat was by logging out and then going to Support for wireless and finding live chat from there, could not find it anywhere when I was logged in.

BTW I never got any delivery date or estimates....I ordered 9 am est 9/14 but didn't know that my order wouldn't even start processing until I accepted the Terms & Conditions, didn't realize that until I received a reminder text on 9/15, accepted them then and got new confirmation email right after. They told me over the phone when I ordered it would be delivered Fri and I just had to accept the terms before it shipped, they failed to tell me that my order didn't even count until I accepted those terms, still pretty pissed about that because my order date now shows 9/15.

i'm guessing the phones will be shipped before 21 so everyone will receive it on day one. it's unlikely they'll ship it on 21, it defeats the term preorder. right?

Ordered Black 32GB on Friday Morning at 9:20am PST. Didn't receive any emails not even a confirmation, website says back ordered and dose not tell me if I get it Friday or 14-21 days. I'm considering canceling it and just waiting in line at the AT&T store. Is that a smart idea or should I wait which could e till October 5th!!
 
I was able to order my 16BG white iPhone 5 BEFORE 12am PST through the At&T website. I had the countdown screen up, glanced over at 2:48am EST and the login screen was up. I logged in and placed my order quickly and easily. I immediately received two confirmation emails at 2:52am & 2:54am EST.

The first email included a 12-digit order number, beginning with 1711.
The email said:
Your order was placed: 01:52 AM CDT September 14, 2012

Great news – your new iPhone will ship soon!
What happens next:
  • Your order will arrive on 9/21/12
  • We’ll send a confirmation email when it’s ready
  • You can check your order status online anytime
  • You can check your order status online anytime

When I check my order status, it says "processing."

I haven't come across anyone who was able to order before 12am PST. I'd hope that because I was able to order so early and my confirmation email read "Your order will arrive on 9/21/12" that it will, but my debit card has not been charged or even pre-authorized (my husband works at our bank).

I ordered a 64GB black. I haven't seen much movement with the 64GB models.

I'm guessing they just haven't worked their way up the chain on this yet. Also, I think just shows that these models are less in demand so it betters our chances of getting it friday.

This is obviously untrue since I actually placed the order on the morning of 9/14/2012. My credit card bill also reflects a pending charge for the iPhone on 9/15/2012. I've gotten no additional email since the original one. What date can I expect my order to ship?

You're not the only one in this situation. I ordered from Premier around the same time and my status on this site (https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status) indicates that my order was placed on 9/15. The confirmation email and the Premier status page clearly show 9/14. The pending charge on my credit card did not appear until 9/15.

I was in a very similar situation, I ordered at 2:51am EST (the site opened up early for me). I got the initial order confirmation email right away saying my phone would be delivered 9/21, but never got a Terms and Conditions email. My order status has been "Processing" all this time.

I got concerned about the TnC and called AT&T two days ago. They said they would look into getting the TnC accepted for my order and would send me an email so I could accept it. I never got an email.

Today, I got a call from AT&T regarding the terms and conditions. They said the TnC had never been accepted, and my preorder "failed." They're now going to have to reorder the phone and my shipping time is 2-3 weeks.

My credit card has the pending charge from AT&T, so I don't understand how the TnC caused my whole order to "fail" despite everything else being fine.

Unreal.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered at 515 CST on 9/14. I called and was told mine is on backorder and won't ship on 9/21 as stated on my confirmation email. So frustrating...

You might want to read one of the few thousand postings here that confirm the DELIVERY on 9/21. They are already shipping.

It's the same for me too. FRom what I heard from the CSR when I called, the premier orders might have not gone in the system until the following day. I was told I won't be getting my iPhone on 9/21 but rather Oct. 5-12. :mad:
