I had this happen to me. Only my second email changing the ship dates was sent to me last night. I called Customer Service and all of the reps gave me different answers, so I have no idea when my order will be shipped.
Mine has been as well, although on my bank's site it says: Post Date: September 17, so looks like I'll be finding out in a couple of hours if they are pushing through the charge or just letting it drop.

If there is any truth to the AT&T website (not that I think there is) then our cards should not be actually charged until the phone has been shipped (or prepared for shipment).
What time does the bank update their info regarding pending charges to actually charge your account at night usually? For example my Chase card has been pending since the 14th when i ordered. I know it can't be exactly at midnight. Just trying to see if i stay up for a few more hrs will it update, or just check when i wake up. Oh and im on central time.
AT&T payment pending...

Assuming they do ACH deposits and debits all at the same time (someone that works for a bank, please chime in if this is not true) it would depend on your bank. I have USAA and my direct deposit goes in around 2:30-3:00am (EST)
I think my Chase will update around 3:00 EST Tuesday morning as it usually does. Every charge I have pending on my Account as well as a deposit are all from Friday the 14th, so my guess is all my current pending charges and deposits from the 14th and over the weekend should clear at 3:00 EST on 9/18. I will update if my card gets charged for my AT&T phone order.
Thank you. I am one of the ones that has been paying attention to my Chase account to see out of curiosity if my pending charge actually goes through. Or if it says pending. I had talked to Chase ahead of time and let them know what i was doing, so they wouldn't think my it was fraud. But those are the two things i been checking, is my Chase account and my order status every once in a while.

As long as i dont fall asleep i will try to come on and tell everyone whether mine goes from pending to an actual charge also. It has been pending since I ordered my phone, but that was expected by me.
I had Fraud Protection call and text me early Saturday morning. I texted them and called ASAP, so they wouldn't cancel my order. Also, I didn't want my bank account screwed over the weekend over an iPhone order.
Yeah actually Saturday morning i called them to let them know that i did indeed order an iphone. And they noted my account. I didnt want to take any chances with Chase.

So... maybe not in the truest sense; but I was in line for the first one. If it's new, shiny, no buttons and says "Apple" on the box, my eyes glaze over and I have to have it.... now.
I am also from Puerto Rico, and my status has not change... it still says Processing :/
So if someone was to order one now, how long would it take to get here. I REALLY don't want to wait in line.
2-3 weeks is what both Apple and ATT are quoting. Verizon is quoting Oct 5.
