My AT&T status still only shows processing and my Amex card has been pending since the 14th. I did place the purchase before 8:00am Pacific time. At this point if it comes on the 21st like they promised I'll be surprised.

People that are worried because your money went back into your available balance relax when you buy something most banks will only leave it as a pending charge for 3 business days then the money goes back into your available balance untill the company request the funds that's why your suppose to keep a check book so you know what's available I have bought from companies that won't take the money out for a couple weeks after you order
And the same thing happened with AT&T during the iPhone 4 launch and everyone freaked.....don't worry it's normal. The pending charge will go away and you'll get the real charge once it ships.

My card as of this morning still has a pending charge dated the 14th. No updates on order status for me yet.
Just looked at my 4s order, preorder was the 7th, shipped the 11th, and I got it launch day so by that formula, if your getting it launch day it needs to ship by today

Great....now UPS is getting involved in the delay! LOL.
I have ALWAYS gotten everything from ATT via FedEX - never once have they used UPS for ME - so I'm not concerned about UPS on bit.

I ordered on Friday from Puerto Rico, around 2pm EST, but my order says I ordered 9/15, because the t/c wasn't sent until the 15th. Well called the Rep and not receiving for 7 to 14 business days.

Yeah, that's what I currently have here at work. However, if I check on my iPhone, it goes through. I guess part of their servers are down? Or perhaps they're finally getting their shipments in from China? Trying to stay positive here.
You signed a contract; own up to it. I'm sick of some people wanting to get the best discount when they haven't yet fulfilled their end of the contract.
I'm also sick of people whining about their charges, and delivery dates, and shipping here; you'll get your phone. It may be next week. I'm so sorry you have to stick it out with your current phone (I bet most of you have an iPhone; it's just as great) just one week longer.
Maybe they'll get delivered a day early, like the iPhone 4 was.
That's always a nice surprise.
