5GB cap only applies to tethering plans. There is no such thing as a 5GB cap on the unlimited iPhone data plan.
That is not how it was explained to me, and I was told this before AT&T allowed tethering on the iPhone.

See how AT&T gives a little, then takes a lot. If Apple would just drastically reduce the price of an unlocked phone, then I could buy it and use another carrier, freeing myself from them.

I understand why Apple went with AT&T with the initial release of the iPhone, just wish they would part ways. I am sure Apple feels the same, especially every time they announce new features ultimately not supported by AT&T. Features that other carriers have allowed for some time.

If Apple felt the same, they could've always broken their agreement with them after all these years, no? yeah, contract can be bought out or cancelled man, so don't think you know APPLE, just stick to knowing you

Sorry if it was explained to you incorrectly. Read the TOS and you will see.

+1000. Typical AT&T rep who has no idea what they’re talking about. Hell, we’ve talked about this numerous times on here, so all you had to do was search and you’d get a better answer (notwithstanding those who still say there is a cap even when presented the facts).
