See the thing is it is on ATT side, even us beta testers on 3.1 can't send MMS the carrier files aren't working for me on 3.1 even though while on 3.0 I was sending MMS the whole beta testing time.

Try sticking your sim in like a PDA like Blackjack, HTC or even a device that can send mms. Try to send one using that device then place the sim back in the iphone. 9 time out of 10 it will start to work for alittle or even stick. Thats why the company does not want to do it. They have not updated a few systems that affects that option yet.

Been there done that, With 3.1 and carrier file 5.0 you lose VM there isn't even an option to type it in to get it to work, as soon as I put the sim and get my phone changed over, there is something in 3.1 when it goes back into the phone and changes the settings back on the network saying it isn't MMS capable, and reverts back.

there is no auto process, it's all manual. It's not like you can simply write a script for it.

They are also still working on installing the very large equipment order they placed to support the extra mms workload.

Not a chance it is a manual process. You really believe AT&T is going into accounts 1 by 1 to remove? Cmon, now....

Mine and my wife's has been working for about a week now. Send and receive, VVM and tethering. I did the sim, media net, ipcc 5 trick. works great. Mt settings in cell data are diff on my 3GS than they are on her 3G. Works!!
