Just had my screen replaced for this very issue. 2 specks top left of the screen. I assumed they were dead pixels until just looking at this thread now!

This looks like a small pin hole light when viewed at the right angle. You will not see looking straight on. It is most noticeable with a light (white) background.

I wish MacRumors had a down vote button like Reddit. That said I have dust and would have never noticed.

I've had three 6s plus close to launch

First developed a yellow blotch in upper left after a week
Same with replacement but dimmer screen
This third and current one is brighter but specs of dust in top left. At least no yellow blotches that was way more obvious and distracting

Can't play the swap game, as I'm on 9.0.2 and refuse to lose jailbreak.

I think it's a losing swap game anyways unfortunately :/

My Phone was just exchanged because of that issue 2 days ago. They allready swapped the screen 2 months ago, so they said it seems to be a problem with the phone, not the screen, so they swapped the whole thing.
While it was perfect when I got it, there is one particle inside the screen in that corner again.

I guess I will just play the exchange game for a couple more times. If I do not get one where it doesn't happen anymore, I will demand my money back and buy a normal 6. At least they didn't have that problem.

put a case on it.

put a case on it.

I hope you are joking… That's like telling people with reception problems on the 4 that they are holding it wrong.

Nonetheless I have Apple's very own Smart Battery Case on it (Or Apple's leather case when not needing the extra battery).
Problem with pretty much all cases is that they leave open the mute switch, where dust can then enter.

Well, i also got a lot of dust under my screen on my 2 weeks old 6S Plus 128GB, pretty bad.. gonna take it in..

That yellow blotch definitely is an adhesive issue.

I have four cluster of dust top left right beside top volume button. Believe me I didn't have this before when it was new. It is visible in a white background and can be seen when the screen is off.

I really don't want a new phone. Is Apple doing in store screen replacement warranty now on 6s plus?

People are swapping their phones because of dust particles under the screen? Wow. How exactly does this impact your usage of the phone?

Yes they can just change the screen. If it truly dust I would replace but that is not what I have seen.

Get back some privacy and block 100% of adverts on-line with the ublock browser plugin, also speeds up website loading times.

Blocking "100% of adverts online" is impossible (for example your signature is, ironically, an advert). But if everyone were to use 'ublock' and reduce the number of adverts reaching the end user, how would all the websites we all visit every day be funded?

Advertising is what makes the internet as we know it. Strangling its main source of funding is foolish.

Very retarded comment ever.

Yours was stellar as well.

It's a legitimate question and in my opinion, is completely unnecessary. It doesn't affect the phone's functionality in the slightest. The frivolousness of portions of the Apple fanbase continue to shock me. Of course, as long as Apple continues to allow it, people will continue to take advantage.

You dont care about this little problem. Fine. This thread is for peeps who cares about this little stuff with paying premium for the phone. You are out of scope here. And enjoy your phone.

Well at least you admit (twice) that this is a "little" problem. Certainly one that people need to return their phones over!

All this illustrates is that people will complain about anything in their quest to find their perfect iPhone, when in reality, these same people will most likely find something else that is not perfect, whether it be battery, screen tint, home button "clickiness", etc...

See if I made that comment I would of gotten a suspension.

Money out of pockets? I enjoy seeing ZERO adverts, even stops the advert crap before... During and after YouTube videos. It's the way forwards.
