Haven't tried this since they changed to 7 days.

Do you still now need a developer account to get it running permanently or 30 days?

Is that what people are doing now? Now it sounds like it's improved wouldn't mind trying again

N64 emulation might be limited by the ATV's hardware, but I suppose it's possible. Given the way Sony went after Bleem! all those years ago, I wouldn't expect an easy road to emulating any PS hardware.

I can imagine it's not easy to do, but I'd hope it's not a technical limitation. I mean, the N64 hardware is 20 years old. I do get that it would have to be emulated and not running natively though.

I'm not sure as I have developer account. But it's absolutely improved.

How long does provenance work now with a full developer account?

Look into ipwnstore

Can someone explain exactly what ipwnstore is and how it works? It seems like one of those UDID registration sites that was everywhere before Apple started doing public betas for iOS. But the FAQs don't make it clear how the code signing process works or how you get the signed .ipa files onto your device. Can anyone on this thread who has used the service shed some light on how it works? I would definitely be up for not having to resign Provenance after 7 days but I don't want to cough up $99 to Apple just for that privilege.

Once you pay them, they add your UDID to their list of developer approved devices. They'll link you to their site which has downloads of .ipa files and directions on how to transfer them. Your device will call home to Apple and recognize it's a developer device since ipwnstore registered it. It then accepts the installation of those ipa files. I've had no problems. I think I signed up 4-5 months ago.

Big news

You need the fork from Daniel fontes
https://github.com/jasarien/Provenance/issues/269
And follow the video he posted

How's that nes30 pro ? I have the regular nes30 and I keep hitting the shoulder buttons by accident while playing nes games and that triggers start

It's ok, littlebit small, I have about size 9 gloves... But overall usage is good! I like more those regular NES30!

So far, I didn't get that forked provenance working in xcode... :(

did anybody else try it ?

i ordered a second snes 8bitdo controller, I'm keeping the nes30 but the the snes is more comfortable

If get an Apple developer licence does this allow it be stay installed all the time rather than the 7 days in a free developer licence?

So, in other words if you don't pay 99 $ again the next year the app stops working?

Just like it does if you don't pay for the 1st time?

I received my nimbus controller and it worked great with newest provenance! No lag at all!
Have to test my 8bit controllers later...
