Anybody still using this ?
Is been updated a few times since July to improve lag and even added dark mode

Everything still works for me , what I don't like is the MFI controller only

I rather use an 8bit or a dualshock controller

I finally figured out how to get this app working with roms. Been playing Mario like crazy!

Wish I was. The lag on my Nimbus was never resolved, so I bought a Raspberry Pi to do all this kinda stuff.

I had just received the USB-C cable in the mail when the 7-day thing hit. I'm not really inclined to go through all this every week, so I've missed out. :(

And now I have an MFi controller that I don't use for anything because I don't really care for what's in the app store.

I've been using it a lot less since Apple forced you to go to a paid developer account or recompile every 7 days.

Are you guys still using and happy with https://tv.ipwnstore.me/ ?

Earning money with hacking Apple hardware? :(

Get the Ipwnstore thing is totally worth it
Been using it since June , you can upload your own .ipa or use theirs
No more 7 day limits , to me that's worth a one time fee of $10
Better than apples $100 a year fee

Ok, you think it's a peccadillo and not a crime...

I saw what kind of USB cable needs to be purchased (3.0 > C), and even managed to make Mac work (and needs to be the latest version) in a VirtualBox. However, I heard some people talking about an expiry date for the free developers account, and even the app itself. At least I heard this about Kodi, that we needed to install within 7 days, and even after that, it would take X days for a reinstall.

Can someone explain how the whole thing with the free Apple developers account works? Can we use Provenance indefinitely and emulating a Mac in VirtualBox to proceed with this install? I haven't tried yet because I haven't got the USB cable.

So the Nimbus lag is gone now? In particularly for Super Mario World? Might have to give it another whirl.

I had initially tried out Provenance a year ago, and the lag/latency on the controller made it unusable for me. Literally just tried it again this past weekend (after getting annoyed about how impossible it seems to be to find a Classic NES), and I'm quite impressed with how responsive the controller timing seems to be. Loaded a bunch of roms, but been playing Mario World and Mario Kart the most. Honestly I'm having a hard time putting it down. Just picked up a second Nimbus controller for some multiplayer fun now.

Actually I recently installed Provenance on my iPad - another excellent way to play as the iPad screen is 4:3 so the old school games fill it perfectly.

I've probably mentioned this before, but I feel like there is a huge opportunity for both Nintendo and Apple if they partnered on a deeper level for gaming. Let Nintendo work on first party titles and MFI controllers, and let Apple work on the hardware and app store / ecosystem. Imagine a $150-200 Apple TV with a dedicated Nintendo section in the app store. I think you'd see both people purchasing an Apple TV to access Nintendo games, and also people with an Apple TV purchasing Nintendo games that wouldn't otherwise buy a dedicated Nintendo console. Nevermind the huge audience of iOS users that they could reach.

This is excellent news. Might give it another go.

Good news Atari 2600,7800 and sega 32x was added today to provenance

Do you think there's a chance N64 and PlayStation could come to Provenance?

Or I'd love to see OpenEmu on Apple TV but I don't think that's happening.

N64 emulation might be limited by the ATV's hardware, but I suppose it's possible. Given the way Sony went after Bleem! all those years ago, I wouldn't expect an easy road to emulating any PS hardware.
