I work at an Apple Reseller!! I'm going in to work tonight in about 2 hours! If there's a box there I am SO SO SO going to open it up!!

EEEK!!!!!

Wish me luck!

Unless your the manager you wouldn't get away with it as everyone else would've seen the box too by now, and they'd know you'd opened it if you did.

Besides, it's likely fake and I'm sure all will be revealed in a few hours time after a major frenzy has been worked up. Maybe someone will send fake take-down notices again.

I'm sure somewhere, someone has already opened the box and seen what's inside. Unfortunately, they probably won't post any pics for fear of losing their reseller status. Of course, as long as they keep matters to themselves, I doubt that Apple has any real way of knowing who has broken the NDA.

Of course, if pics were posted, is it possible to figure out which reseller was the one who did it?

Well that's concrete proof that there will be at least one hardware announement at WWDC.

I guess you'd have to go to two separate resellers and compare the materials, if they're the same, and you didn't take the photos with your shops logo visible in them, then Apple wouldn't know.

If someone did post photos and Apple responded with take-down notices then you'd know for sure it was real, if they didn't, you'd know it's fake.

Hah, that picture looks photoshopped. Anyways, if this was real, and I were at work (I work at BB) and i received this box or at least saw it, I'd just open it. Who cares about my lousy summer job! lol

I'd forsure open it at post pics on MR haha.

Well... The only way they can find out who opened it is if they know the amount they sent and if the person turns the device on... Once the device is turned on it is auto registered on a tower and sends a signal to Apple.. So yea. Unless its just a display model i doubt its a real one.

No, say the boxes were opened and the contents were removed, and then photographed against a black backdrop or something. Isn't that basically impossible to decipher as to who did it?

If this were real...(I could be mistaken here) but isn't Australia the only place where it has been announced that there is going to be more than one carrier selling the iPhone? Maybe this has something to do with it. Any other countries announced that there is more than one carrier that are going to sell the iPhone?

Has Apple posted any recent job requests for oompa-loompas? Anyone else think that Jobs is becoming more and more like Willy Wonka? I wouldn't even be all that surprised if he put out golden tickets into the boxes of a handful of the upcoming iPhones.

LOL, there's a big note inside that pops out on a spring saying, "Haha . ., what a dufus." And that's it, and the person will feel real wack. :D

Fake

This is fake.
A dispatch department places shipping labels on the side of boxes.
This shouldn't even be posted, as it is utter nonsense.

Anyone working in dispatch that places a label on the top or bottom of a box is in serious trouble, the printing/shipping company can lose a client by shipping boxes like this.

I don't know why Apple would do that, and not courier them on Monday night or something.

Monday is a public holiday in most of Australia, so no postal or courier deliveries on that day.

I'm hoping for a web-cast of the box opening at 12:01am :D

(Lordi, I'm actually contemplating staying up to watch.... the opening of a cardboard box! :p)

IT'S FAKE. The 2 lines of text at the bottom of the label do not follow the curve of the top of the box or the bottom of the label.

If you go to the large picture at the site, take a look at the bottom center of the white label. It's blurred. Look at the text inside the round stamp. The text nearest the edge of the label is blurred while the surrounding text is clear.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
i could just feel the dummy display of the iphone in that box....

[[drools]]]....i want so baddddd...............
