I have my copy pre-ordered on Amazon. I think I'll get it on iBooks as well.

Actually, considering this is Steve Jobs, the premiere tech leader of his generation, wouldn't choosing a paper book over a digital one be a bit ironic?

Nah, because holding a book is a bit of a different experience IMO, and now due to his death, it will make it seem all the more real. :(

I wonder if it's going to be further updated to include his death. Not like it would need to be more then a few sentences to include when/how, etc. No mention of that.

EDIT: Based on my downranking, I think my second sentence is being taken out of context. I just meant that everything about his life has already been written through his resignation and a few more sentences would be included to include the date of his death, epilogue, etc.

Ordered this one weeks ago.

Is it not proof of what he has done given the fact it was purchased using an iMac from the App Store and will be read in iBooks on my iPad 2.

Steve you changed the world. :apple:

Pre-ordered mine a while ago. Glad to hear that it was moved up, can't wait to start reading this one!

I'm normally not that into biographies, but I may end up going for this one...

Also, I laughed out loud at the 38 thousand percent increase in pre-orders.

I hope it will be in the Slovenian iBooks store. Otherwise a hard copy it is.

It's only free shipping if you add $7.12 worth of products in addition to the book.

He's probably a B&N Member like I am. You get free shipping with no minimum purchase.

I pre-ordered his book from B&N a few weeks ago. I'm glad they're moving up the release date.

RIP Steve

Not sure about my reaction to this.

The guy died less than 24 hours ago and the "timing" of this seems just a tad too commercialized.

Steve approved this book and I think if he were around he'd want it bumped up if logistically possible to give some comfort to people. The book was going to sell anyway, I don't see the big deal.

The book was bumped up once when he retired...i think its always been the plan to aim it "around" his death....clearly when he retired he knew his time was almost up.

I will be ordering this soon, should be a great read.

I think a name like 'One More Thing' or 'iCon' would have been fitting.

I'm happy Steve agreed to this, it will be a very interesting read (on iBooks of course). I don't normally read books, but this one will be a must. I think the comment about Steve's last "One More Thing" is the absolute truth. I think that is the best way to put it.

Got the torrent pre ordered.

If I like it, I will be glad to buy it on my Kindle.

I'm talking about being bumped up to the end of October instead of the end of November. That was done today.

I want the Hard Back book and have ordered several.

However I hope that Apple will offer it as an eBook for download and purchase.
