Lol... Can't really come to a conclusion about an average age range just by looking at the poll when the age brackets are completely inconsistent, but ok.
Doesn't really matter.26 here. This is my 3rd iPhone, after having both the 4S and 5 on their respective launch days.
26. My first smartphone was the original iPhone and I have traded between iPhones and Androids since then. Currently using an iPhone 5.
Why are the age ranges in the poll so...broad? Like 11 years between 18 and 29? Nineteen years within the next range?
29 and previous phone was samsung galaxy S2.
Moved over to the iPhone 4 to taste apples iphone for the first time and 4 months on I love it. My upgrade has been due since 3rd of sept and this has convinced me to never go back to android (for a good few years at least)

Apparently I've been a tech blogger since before some of you were born. I hit double nickles next week. Currently using a 5S. You should see my boxes of used stuff. I even still have my Treo 270 in a drawer! (And an unopened package of eGrips for it.)

I'm 68, and have an iPhone 5.
Of course, as is frequently pointed out by many poster regarding old people and electronics...I have no idea how to use it.
I like to look at the pretty pictures on it, and the new pretty colors on it now...while carefully drooling out of the side of my face so as no to get the drool on the pretty phone.
Soon, I will hire a young person to come and show me how to turn it off, and do the battery filling up thing...and maybe make a call. I'm not sure that I can handle all those other things the pretty pictures on it do...

I'm 68 as well. Now do another poll showing those that want a wider phone, and how old they are. Almost bet the younger people want the larger phones while the older ones do not. Just a guess. I don't for one.
Older gents/gals, and very few if any play games on them or have a ton of music.
I am a minority here - 44 yo female. Love, love, love my iphone and my ipad and my mbp and Imac But I work in IT Also my mom who is 76 has an iphone and she is pretty good with it, she can text and take pictures, she plays games and check her facebook and her e-mail.
