Uh-oh...I wonder on what end was the glitch. Was it Bank of America or it Apple? Since only BoA customers seemed to be affected, I am guessing it was on BoA's end.

Still, for getting everyone onboard with a new payment platform, this isn't the best news...Especially for trying to get it resolved...

Growing pains, but sadly this will deter some

Given the update, shouldn't this article title be changed? Right now it is misleading. This isn't an Apple problem, it's a Bank of America problem. Re/code has it right, "Bank of America’s Apple Pay Glitch".

It doesn't matter who's fault it is, MSM will write it up as yet ANOTHER iOS 8 glitch, and that's not good PR for Apple.

Is apple even trying?

A very appropriate question. It's hard to imagine they aren't, and yet epic fundamental failures right out of the gate like this simply remind one of Apples lack of attention to detail.

On one hand they have legions of supporters quick to make excuses, on the other hand for such a well seasoned company this is unacceptable.

That said the greater majority will let Apple go as though it never happened.

It's Amazing at how much in common Apple has with another massive bumbling organization. No wonder they understand each other so well.

It is a problem with Bank of America, not Apple.

Did you not read MacRumor's own update pinning the fault on BofA and not Apple? Go back to the first page. Now your rant just seems silly, doesn't it?

No. The article title is worded to imply that this issue is affecting bank of america customers. I posted to state that my experience as a BofA customer has been different. So climb down off your little internet high horse and relax.
You stated as if your single experience was the norm and not the exception.
You are the one in the Apple ivory tower pointing down at those who find issues with Apple, hence the "sensationalized bullcrap" comment you made in your original post.

dam glitches,,,, all i want is McDonald's.

actually that could be one case, u wouldn't care if u'r charge twice, just as long as you get a double order too :D

Millions of transactions have gone through without a problem. 100 have had a problem. It seems like it WAS tested, and works fine, just a minor issue needs to be worked around.

But, of course, this will be blown out of proportion. And, of course, nothing has ever gone wrong with Google Wallet, right?

Look at this Google Wallet mess (security bug that affects 100% of users where someone can view your credit card number).... hmmm... is this worse or not? Are people still using Google Wallet or were they scared away because of this?

That's different, since it is from Google. Apple, on the other hand, is the only tech company needs to be triple-criticized for any mistakes.

A credit card is thinner.

The last part was interesting:

Maybe Apple needs to put out more Apple Pay commercials just to raise awareness since many companies aren't telling their employees about it.

My credit card is thinner than any iPhone. Take that, Tony!

I never had an issue with Google Wallet..............iexcuse

It's pretty easy to have no issues when you never use a service.

I have several coworkers at IBM with Google Wallet compatible phones. I checked and they don't use it. The one coworker that has received their iPhone 6 is already using Apple Pay. Mine hasn't arrived yet but I plan on using Apple Pay and ditching my wallet as promptly as possible (admittedly that'll probably be a few years.)
