Screw those clowns. Went to VirginMO and will stay put. Coverage is fine for me and it is fast enough on data. Never been impressed for that whopping 2GB's of data (from the big 2) for obscene prices anyway.

Come on Apple stop it please. If a new feature, or gimmick isn't quite ready for the real world, just wait until you get it right. If it's a new feature, people aren't going to miss it anyways, as they haven't seen it yet. People are losing confidence in you. Better off making people wait a little longer and release something that really "Just works", rather than creating a big mess.

It just works... in version 8.2

Aaaaand it begins. Can't be good for Apple's PR team... Again.

They're using it wrong ;)

I love how the first 4 comments are pretty much trolling when it was pretty obvious to most reasonable people that this had nothing to do with Apple.

I just realized today I have NFC vending machines at my work, so I bought something using ApplePay. Super simple, I like it a lot.

read the whole article please.

HOLY CRAP GUYS! A brand new service with so many varying factors would run into problems in the first week? Thats unheard of...

We've had credit card systems that have been around for decades but they still have problems like this from time to time.

Instead of 'gate' use 'dome', let's see how many forum members know US history.

Oh please this is MR members you are talking about, a lot of them wouldn't have a clue about any history.

Now if you asked about South Korean history, then you would get a lot more sensible answers.....

Hahah especially in this thread.

Well, other than being the company that invented it, they have nothing to do with it.

Also, you'd make your point better if you didn't write it in a large glaring font.

Apple did not invent the technology.

It is a standard system that Apple integrated with their phone. They do not have a control on most part of it.

what's next Apple?

We've designed Apple Pay to unapologetically charge you twice for purchases so you can receive twice as many rewards points. It's rather remarkable isn't it? When you think you're paying once for a purchase but you're actually paying twice. That's the power and simplicity of Apple Pay. - Jony

You just got to laugh at some members here.

Just so damn fast to blame Apple, even if the issue is not at their part

----------

If they banned the trolls, who would defend Apple and insult the people seeking help?

You don't get it. In a forum like this, trolls usually are the ones attacking.

This is a huge WIN for Apple. By not storing transaction details they can completely wash their hands of this problem.

But it does raise the question how do you pay for two identical items, one straight after another?

Funnily enough in this very first video of it being used it looks like the guy is being charged twice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIbsPvpY7GU
