Hi echo1877,
I have purchased your application "Battery Health". It worked exceptionally untill IOS 9.3.5 but on IOS 10 it doesn't work especially cycle count, battery temperature, and design capasity. I am angry with APPLE and i can't understand her problem with these informations!!! Really...what we can do? What;s the problem to know my battery cycle counts and health? Even with battery temp? She have really problem.
I am on your app ver 2.3. Also why apple remove an paid app from her app store? Did you give as any update of app and if yes...how we can take it?
Did you have your app in android store?
Thanks in advance.

Updated on my Air 2 and installed Battery Life. The app really doesn't even work, because the battery charge level in the app is just mirroring the iOS percent. When iOS reads 100%, the battery is truly only 95% and that is why I use these apps, to make sure its fully charged at 100% when I unplug. But I guess I can't even do that. This app is only useful for wear level now. Unfortunate.
Battery life will still tell you when your phone is actually fully charged in iOS 10. I still use it only for that reason. I'm bummed that all the other useful stats are being blocked now but at least I can still tell when it says "fully charged" in the charging state that it's fully charged! Hopefully when a jailbreak comes we should be able to see the temp and charge rate and cycle count again.

Yes it does. I wish it gave the mAh more accurately so I knew roughly how much longer it needed to charge, but at least it gives the text 'fully charged' and not only based on the iOS percent meter, but on the battery mAh itself. I've been able to confirm it will Coconut for Mac.

Hey everyone, I have a question:Is ibackupbot working on iOS 10.1? I tried to see how many charge cycles my phone have and I got a message error ? Should I delete it and reinstall it ??

iBackupbot is really finicky. You Coconut Battery if you have a Mac.

I've been using that app for some time, but it's hard to tell how reliable it really is. Things are being rounded to the nearest hundred it seems with the app under iOS 10, but more importantly even the wear level seems like it can be unrealiable.

Using it once or twice a week for a few weeks it's mostly been at 91% for me (1600 capacity) although a bit before that it was a little higher and once or twice was a bit lower. Seems more or less fine even if rounded perhaps. Today within a span a few hours I went from being at 76% to 84% a couple of hours later to back to 91% an hour after that. This is all without charging or doing anything heavy or different than just typical usage in that time. Go figure.

Ok, there is app from Cydia - BatteryLife which shows everything like old non-jailbreak iOS 9 Battery Life app

and im not jailbroken..this app is on the appstore today.

*shrugs & doesnt really understand the thread*

It's working as intended. iOS 10 doesn't allow to check cycle count etc with any app store app. Only way to get this to work is either coconut or batterylife from cydia (if/when it's updated and works with iOS 10 jb).

I'm thinking of making a battery app as a way of publicizing my iPhone battery case, CoBattery.

It looks like Apple has removed the API for getting cycle count, charge amperage and charge voltage. So there is less that can be done there.

What would you be most interested in seeing? I am going to look into ways of getting data outside of the iOS API.

If you get outside of what iOS officially supports then realistically Apple wouldn't approve an app like that, and if they would approve it accidentally they could remove it at any point.

Hardware monitor could be a good option, except the price of those equipment.

Apple cannot limit such use anyway, unless they encrypt data sent out and in device.

Hey guys,

I have Battery Life Check which shows battery charge and current capacity. I'm not sure whether it's not accurate or not.

I installed ibackup on windows and results are same.

Battery life is an estimate. It will round to the nearest hundred. iBackupbit is a,so an estimate but rounds to the nearest 10. Coconut is the only one that gives an exact readout.

I've been looking at my current battery capacity of my iPhone 7 on ibackupbot. Oddly, it fluctuates from 2000mah and drops a 100mah to 1900. Is this actually accurate or is my true capacity somewhere in between (and the application just can't round properly?)

Application only rounds up or down. Only Coconut gives an actually number.
