I feel like im getting less and less.. like 5 hours now... and coco is showing 99%... which is fine... somehow my mbp is using more power than normal, any tips? any apps to uninstall or something?

As much as I like it and use it pretty much as my default browser, Chrome appears to be a battery hog...
I get better battery life with Safari...
(I have gfxCardStatus set to keep the Intel Integrated forced on battery as the nVIDIA can run the battery down very quickly in my 15" i5)

6:48 @ half bright, firefox with about 10 tabs, itunes running with internal speakers on, msn, mail, calendar, vuze torrent (inactive).

One minute has passed and now it's cut down to 5:54.

Mine's being really good to me, 8-9 hours with half brightness, bluetooth off, wifi on and keyboard backlight off.

Mine is questionable...this is the only MBP out of 3 i bought that have such a low number already after only 3 cycles.

Is yours one of the brand new ones? I don't think 5,552 should be something to complain about. Mine is at 95% health at 5,179. You may have the type of thing the apple tech explained to me. Your battery may have started higher than most, so it will degrade more quickly at the start. Once it "settles in" it will become more normalized. After you've had it for a month or so, maybe try calibrating.

I actually did a test on this as well, and it is indeed true. My estimated battery life increased by about an hour after switching from chrome to safari.
