How do you delete from the watch?

I see you answered that before, but really you have to remove the FaceTime app from the phone? Basically you won’t be able to use FaceTime anymore?
I never used FaceTime. So not a big deal for me :)
[doublepost=1537739254][/doublepost]Normally on my S2 AutoSleep only used 3-5% during night for sleep tracking, so not a big deal at all.

All the people coming from 1st Gen watch feel the battery life is way better. Mostly other people coming from S2 or S3 say the opposite, because the older models lasted much longer.

But I guess, as some people are getting better results than other, we really need to pass a week or two to have a better view on battery life!

Agreed! I was hoping Series 4 would have better battery life than series 2 and 3, but it doesn’t appear to be case. I think Apple added more features than these small batteries can handle.

Why delete it? You could just make yourself unavailable (I think).
[doublepost=1537751723][/doublepost]So far I'm not really happy with the battery life. Its not nearly as good as my series 3 was. I worked out for a little over an hour this morning and by 3pm I was at 60%.

AW4 w/Cellular (not activated) - After 8 hours, I'm down to 29%. I read a few messages and glanced at it a few times, that's about all. Do the cellular models use the battery faster, even if it's not activated?

Update: Second day wearing my new Silver SS AW4. After a full charge, I've been wearing it for 12 hours (so far) and my battery is down to 76%. Perhaps my first-day battery life was due to initial syncing.

Unavailable doesn’t help. Battery life is exactly the same available or not

Update:
Standby 22 hours 14 minutes
Usage 3 hours 25 minutes
48% left.
(toyed with it a bit as it's news and wore it overnight using Autosleep to track sleeping)

Woke up with 88% at 14 hours ago ... so used 40% in 14 hours of normal wear throughout the day.

Maybe I’m the only one, but I’m getting better battery life on my cellular S4 than I did on my cellular S3, and I only got it yesterday. I even have Walkie Talkie enabled, and actually used it a couple times. Perhaps the difference for me is that I’m going from 38mm to a 40mm, so theoretically I have a bigger battery, right? But I’ve definitely been playing with my watch more today than I normally do, and I’m still getting better battery life.

My battery life is terrible. Today is the 2nd day wearing it and I had to charge it in the late afternoon because the power reserve came on. I charged it for about 25 min and then while I was washing my face tonight the battery died. I am NOT happy. This is the worst battery ever of all my watches and I have had every one!
I don’t know what to do...

Sitting at 1:30 usage and 12 hours off charger and currently at 77%. I was expecting to be able to get 2-3 days battery comfortably but that doesn’t seem to be the case. This is my first smart watch and I’m really hoping the battery will improve as I didn’t use it very much today beyond notifications.

Count me as one of the less than impressed with the battery. I’ve had each series of Apple Watch and this one is definitely not as energy efficient as the 3 on watchOS 5. I won’t write it off yet but I just lost about 15% overnight (about 7 hours) which is well over my usual consumption.

Interesting to see. I thought the 3 was also draining more on watchOS 5.

I think that maybe the higher number of complications on the watchface could be causing some increased drain.

Anyone else finding it takes much longer to charge their Series 4 than previous generations? I had a Series 2 and would charge it in the morning so i could use AutoSleep for sleepy tracking. Even if it was almost empty, an hour charge or so would bring it to full or nearly fully charged.

My Series 4 seems to charge significantly slower. It's been on the charger for an hour and only went from 11% to 50%

I am comparing a Series 2 GPS 42mm to now a Series 4 GPS 44 mm. I wonder how much larger the battery capacity is now than the series 2.

I have to pay more attention to this when I get home today. My S1 used to charge superquick

Yeah, it was one of my favorite things about the S2. It was super fast to charge, so i never really felt like charging it in the morning before work was a big deal. now it feels a lot different.

Are there any reports out on the battery capacity compared to earlier series? It would be interesting to know if the battery capacity has changed.
