Does anyone have a pair of these and the AirPods Pro to compare? I find the AirPods Pro fit terrible for my ears, also, there is no deep bass. If these Beats are better for both areas, I may have to invest :)

all the online reviews so far say 1) fit is amazing and rock solid for everyone who has tried it including those who have airpods pro fall out and 2) it sounds similar to airpods pro but with better (but not overwhelming) bass. basically it is a fitness focused version of the airpods pro that fits much better and has better bass.

Very intrigued to get mine on Friday.
Won't be getting mine until next week at some point. I switched to Costco since they were including the extra AppleCare+ for headphones for the same $199 all-in price. No brainer to wait a touch and get that included for free.

They sound like a really killer product

I've waited for this product for the last 5 years since the first AirPods. I've used various products including the Airpods, Airpods Pro, and Studio Buds since then but none have ever been perfect for my ears and use cases. I have a feeling this is finally the one, I'm excited for Friday.

I suspect the AirPods Pro 2 will be similar in size / shape to the Beats Studio Buds (ie. no stem, bud design, but also no wingtips). I'm sure they will bring new features to the table in terms of better ANC/transparency etc. but I have "one of those ears" that makes these things fall out so for now the Beats Fit Pro are little miracles, finally all the features of an AirPod Pro in a more secure design.
Unfortunately, Beats Fit Pro’s case is way much bigger than the AirPods Pro one.

it is, but it's as slim as the airpods case and nothing at all like the powerbeats. it absolutely can be slid in a jeans pocket but i agree, it isn't quite as small as airpods. if they stay in my ears, well worth it.

Just ordered the white ones. Was torn between white and black, but the white ones just look so clean. Can't wait for Friday.

I’ll be able to find out. I just ordered these and my wire has the AirPod Pros. I’m very curious to hear the difference.

Mine arrives Friday but shipping status is still "preparing to ship" ?
Mine too. I hope they come in time, I’m actually looking forward cutting my grass with them ?

I’d be interested I hearing a comparison of the ANC in the Fit Pro v. Studio Buds.

I just recently bought the Studio Buds (right before these were announced) and I’m wondering if there’s enough difference to return them and get the Fit Pro Instead.

I have used the AirPods Pro AND the Studio Buds extensively. All the initial reviews say the Fit Pro is now back at the level of performance of the ANC and Transparency modes on the AirPod Pro so I think I can provide some initial input, although I'll have the Fit Pro tomorrow for a final test.

AirPods Pro had what I'd consider very good ANC for an ear bud. I use the professional Bose A20 over the ear headphones that are world class for ANC when working as an airline pilot so no, it isn't that good, but for a tiny bud they were great. The transparency mode was also SHOCKINGLY good making the world outside enter your sealed ear and eerily creating the effect you weren't wearing buds.

Studio Buds ANC was considerably worse. It worked ok, and certainly took a lot of the outside noise (like airplane background noise) away and made it easy to hear your music or podcast, but the background noise was still always noticeable in the background. I'd say Studio Buds ANC is 75% as good as AirPods Pro. The Studio Buds transparency mode is HORRIBLY bad. It barely lets the outside world in, you sound weird to yourself when talking, and it never sounds "real" but rather you have noise being pumped into the earbuds (which you are, but AirPods Pro proved it doesn't need to feel that way.) I consider the transparency mode on the Studio Buds unusable for carrying on conversations or listening to the outside world, it has some usefulness for safety on runs (hearing a car approaching) but even then it is so weak that I don't feel it is good enough.

Fit Pro reviews are saying the ANC is the equal OR better (likely due to secure fit, more than improved tech) than AirPods Pro. This is great news. The reviews are also saying the transparency mode is the same as AirPods Pro which means it should be light years better than the Studio Buds.

The Studio Buds proved to me that the small bud design works better for me than stems, the sound could still be good etc. But adding the wings for better fit and restoring all the ANC/transparency/Apple ecosystem tech will be a HUGE upgrade from the Studio Buds and so the Fit Pro seems on paper to be the perfect headphones for me. I'll give you first hand impressions tomorrow hopefully.

Thank you, that’s helpful info. I can’t get AirPods to stay in my ears so I’m thinking the Fit Pro might be better for me.

Again, no wireless charging.

Do any Beats products Qi charge?

nope. for the fit pro it is purely to put something between these and the airpods pro because for $50 less you get essentially the identical device in an arguably more attractive package with an almost certainly superior fit for nearly everyone. i know every user is different but for me these cases hold so much battery (24 hours of earbud use) that i don't have to charge more than a couple times a week AND it charges very quickly via usb-c, 0-100% in under 90 minutes, so that the "hassle" of using a cable is minimal and this isn't like my phone that i place on a magsafe charger on occasion during the day and every night. the price savings, but in particular the more secure fit makes the fit pro a no-brainer for many.

I know, I figured they didn't. I have several different models of Beats rechargeables, and really loved the PowerBeats Pros, and now the Studio Buds. I only have 2 ears, and yet plenty of different buds and cans, etc. It's hard to find good fitting 'ear things' for me...

Qi/wireless changing isn't a show stopper for me, so far. The Beats seem to charge quickly, and traveling with a cable and power brick isn't that obnoxious as I have to drag around something for the AW, iPhone, and iPad.

I get buy, but apparently the number one distinction for Apple and Beats products is wireless charging, and design differences. They aren't all bad. Interesting that the Studio Buds are kinda close to an Apple design. In a certain point of view.

it will be there, apple has this down to a science.
Well it JUST shipped today. UPS tracking says check back tomorrow for updated delivery date. Ordered many many Apple products over the years and never had that happen. Oh well, there are bigger problems in the world. Was looking forward to trying these out on my long run this weekend though.

to me the interesting thing is studio buds got released in 2021 but DO NOT use an Apple chip nor support all modern apple ecosystem advantages, it is a much more platform independent thing. considering beats has been using apple chips and fully supporting apple standards for years now it really was unusual. the fit pro is right back on track and basically IS IDENTICAL to an airpod pro in tech / internal features but in a new form factor (that makes it far more secure and no more stems) and has a non-wireless charging case.

UPS is under a lot of strain doe to the pandemic. I've had more issues this year with late packages than ever before.Cut them some slack. This pandemic is effecting everything.

I had heard that. I was having issues with the Apple Magical Pairing not working, or chenging to a different device on a whim, so not having the H1 chip isn't exactly a great loss. They seem to work really very well, for the price, and the noise cancellation, while isn't 100%, is pretty danged good.

Were they a 'loss leader' for the holidays? (That came out a little too early?)

GOT 'EM! (recap: AirPods fall out instantly, AirPods Pro fall out running, Powerbeats are rock solid but heavy, have a bad charging case, and no ANC, and Studio Buds don't fall out but keep getting "loose feeling" and lack good ANC and Apple features....)

30 MINUTE REVIEW:

My god they are perfect. I mean really, really perfect.

1. Putting them in the ears is super fast. Place in ear, slight twist towards your back and the wing pop into your ear to secure it. Absolutely not fiddly. More comfortable at first than any bud I've ever worn in my life. You do not feel the wing in your ear. The lack of movement in my ear is so nice.

2. They do NOT move. I shake my head as hard as I can. Make dramatic chewing movements etc. and they DO NOT MOVE. They don't even loosen. Absolutely as secure as my over the ear Powerbeats Pro (aside I guess from if something strikes my ear, I suppose the Powerbeats Pro might survive that better but might hurt my ear?) but essentially "weight less" feeling unlike the Powerbeats Pro. It's like a miracle and nothing even remotely compared to AirPods or Studio Buds.

3. Sound is awesome. Sounds like AirPods Pro with a bit more bass. It doesn't have as much bass as Powerbeats Pro but isn't nearly as muddy sounding as that was for the mids and highs. It sounds great.

4. ANC is fantastic, eliminates background noise instantly and seems comparable to the AirPods Pro and better than Studio Buds. I'll use them on an airplane this weekend and check back but its good.

5. Transparency is AWESOME! AirPods Pro has great transparency mode but the Studio Buds I've been used have a joke for transparency mode. As I'm typing this I'm wearing the Fit Pros, have music off, transparency on and I'm talking to my wife and it is 95% like I'm not wearing earbuds. It's amazing.

6. The case is much smaller than it looks in pictures. The square shape does make it larger but its about the same thickness as the Studio Buds case. It absolutely is pocketable in mens jeans, slacks or shorts with no unslightly look. I'm not saying a smaller AirPods size case wouldn't be nice, but this absolutely remains a case you can take with you everywhere.

Well I'll have to wear it for a long time and see how long term comfort is. With AirPods Pro and Studio Buds I had to wear the large tips to get any kind of secure fit (and it never really was) but both medium and large tips for Fit Pro produced good ear seal tests but out of habit I switched to large. I wonder if I can get better comfort using medium over many hours of listening but just as good ANC etc. now that the bud doesn't move anymore.

I can't emphasis how much I think this is the best wireless earbud Apple makes as of today and is the best wireless earbud for anyone that cares about the Apple ecosystem features. It's OUTSTANDING.
