The early 80s called, they want their colors back.

I'm so exhausted by "designers" putting out drab color after drab color in everything from clothes, to vehicles, to everything else. The world has been depressed enough for the past two years, bring back fun, lively colors and help cheer the place up.
Not a bad idea! Old late 90’s iMac candy colors

The only person who should be downvoted for this is Tim. He's the one that signed off on this!
I don’t know…. I imagine Cook in his office with a vapid look on his face, as he serenely stares off into the spaceship campus horizon, when he’s asked about signing off on a Kim K product collab.

And he says “Who? How many units will this move? 5million? Okay, do it. Go Collaborate with Kimeth Cardash.”

I like the colours and alot of people do too it seems. I do dislike the original colours. Couldn't Apple make these colours in-house? Does Apple really need to look outside for help to offer different colours? Probably would sold even more without attaching it to Kim K.

I remember trying Beats when they first were a thing and they sounded… not great - way too much bass and not much else.

Are they more properly balanced these days? Because apart from the Kardashian thing, I’m still thinking of picking some of their in-ears up for sports…

Some of y’all sound like the Android guys back in the way when Apple sold out of iPhone. The running joke was, “Oh, they only made less than a million of them and the iPhone really isn’t popular.”

Even if they only made 10 of each colors, it was enough to convince others to buy them.

Just goes to show you how materialistic people are. I am sure most who bought them won't even use them while working out...

Christ almighty, they’re skin tones man. That’s the whole point.

I think it's one thing to not like a certain celebrity, and another to also recognise that they remain insanely influential nonetheless, and it stands to reason that any product backed by them or designed in collaboration with them is going to be very popular amongst their fan base.

It also explains why Apple is still holding on to the beats brand. The AirPods is the more "neutral" brand, while beats is there for the funky colours and celebrity collabs that simply would not fit in with the image of the AirPods.
AirPods could do with a whole lot more colors… and if it collab is what it would take to get that… then, well, let’s do it.

I think most of you don’t realize the beats brands is for the culture.. Urban/Younger generation. Hence why most of beats brand ambassadors are athletes etc.. The Beats brands appeals to that generation so well that Apple didn’t shut down that brand like it normally would.
Yes, beats is owned by Apple but they are on two completely different levels and market. For most of you here, that’s what AirPods Pro are for… No Kim K or Lebron James endorsement on those.

And funny thing is, I like Dre's music.

From a demographic standpoint, I'm probably not the target audience, but I still like the music.
No doubt he has skills. But he’s a DV Offender, Common Assailant and other bad stuff. If he were an actor, he’d be banned for life. Because he’s a musician, beating women up is excused.

Look for lots of crazy stuff like this in the near future. Now that it appears hearing aids are finally going to be sold “over the counter” Apple is going to completely dominate that market. Everything they have been experimenting with in the realm of AirPods has been leading up to this moment.

Beating up women is a talent? She has a net worth more than double of Dr Dre. I think that’s talent. And she didn’t have to assault a single person to get it.
And his music has what to do with hitting a a woman? If you think she has talent, I’ve got nothing else to say.

Coming soon ... the Kardashian Kollection from Apple. MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, all color-coordinated in matching skin tones.

I can't say that I have any interest in KK or any of that family. In fact, I have a negative interest in them. OTOH, if I hadn't have just bought a pair of BFPs less than a month ago, I definitely would have tried to get one of these ones whose colors suit my preferences better. I'd be slightly repulsed that some of the K family would apparently get some of the profit, but I don't think these cost any more than the regular ones.

If her father hadn’t defended OJ and her stepdad wasn’t Bruce Jenner, she’d be a nothing….

Yeah, and if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped.

Fact is, she used a foot in the door to create a billion dollar empire. TV shows, games, fragrances, skin care, women underwear/bathing suits that they go nuts over, etc.

But yeah, Kim's the idiot. It's been something to watch the people of this forum go from the open minded, creative, innovative folks that they were in the early 2000's, to the crusty old out of touch grumps they are now. Oof.

To everyone saying: i ToLd YoU sO, this doesn't tell us anything unless we know what the production run was. If they made 100 of these, them selling out nationwide isn't an accomplishment for Apple.
