Floater

Hey mariahlullaby, nice pics of you and Mariah! :)

Went to see floater the other night. My first experience; damn they are good! Musicians for musician. Had so much fun I decided to stay out until 5:30 the next morning ... :p

It was the same night as G-Love (and special sauce), but he comes through all the time and I'm not to fond of the venue where he was playing. The security guards are are *******s!

I thought Jack's Mannequin was terrible live. They opened for O.A.R. the two times I saw them play this summer and they were bad. That said, I'd be interested in seeing a Something Corporate concert, from what I remember off the Ready.. Break and Leaving Through the Window albums they were pretty decent.

Part of the problem with that tour was that it was in larger amphitheaters, which he doesn't perform too well in. Personally, no band should ever play outdoors.

azzurri000 <3s screamo :)

I saw Silverstein, Underoath, and Moneen last week :D

Silverstein, my favourite band, was especially amazing.

I saw Final and Sunn O))) on Tuesday night in Dublin.
Best gig of the year so far, Opeth next month then The Melvins in December.

I saw them once ... rocked the house. I think it was with Hunzel and Gretle or it could have been Helmet; can't remember which ... or both?

Caught Pamela Kurstin (theremin) with her band the other night. Very cool sound; I enjoyed how well she integrated into that setting. I've seen her before ... she's amazing with that thing. If you let her she will take you to alien worlds. ;)

Lyrics Born, Cut Chemist, Pigeon John ... soon, very soon. :)

The last shows I saw were Coachella (that was back in late April, crap!), and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club @ Sunset Junction. Great performance. :)

Snow Patrol, David Ford, Sufjan Stevens. The latter two being amazing. :)

I'm going to have to agree there... Sufjan Stevens is flipping amazing, and David Ford is awesome too. I wanted to go see sufjan when he played in Dallas last month, but I wasn't able to go. Either way, he's a very talented artist. I love how Ford's songs start out so low-fi and then get huge at the end. They make me happy.

Panic! at the Disco the other night, with kisschasy and something with numbers as support. pretty good show.

Last concert I was at was a Jurassic 5 show in D.C. before I moved to California. Next show I'll be at will be Imogen Heap in here in L.A. on November 30th. I missed the Decemberists at the Wiltern just a few hours ago. Tickets sold out before I could buy any. That made me very sad. Hopefully they'll come around for another pass while still on their tour supporting "The Crane Wife."

I swaw P!ATD in October of last year and it was awesome. It was freezing at the outside venue and Brendon (the lead singer) didn't have a jacket, so my friend took off his jacket and let Brendon wear it for the show... which was pretty flippin cool. But either way, the show was good and the crowd got really into it, so much so that we ended up breaking the front barrier. I'd say they outperformed Motion City.

Good times...

Went to see Tool on September 22nd in Auburn Hills, awesome show. If you ever have the chance to catch them live, don't miss it. Tickets sold out in 8 minutes. :)

Also saw Evanescence on Friday the 13th, October. Not a bad show at all, I really dig her voice and also the bass in the new album is excellent.

Snap, saw Panic! at the Brixton Academy with We Were Scouts and The Sounds supporting. Top night! Although when they played Tonight, Tonight and Karma Police it felt like I was the only one in the audience that knew the words...

Saw Clapton a few weeks back. Simply amazing concert. This sunday i'm going to see Bob Dylan with the Foo Fighters doing an acoustic set. Bought tickets last week to Guns N' Roses.

The last concert i went to see were the Chilli peppers.
They rock, and hoping to see George Michael in a few weeks

The Raconteurs at Brixton Academy. Very good. Support band was Bigbang from Norway who were also good.

Went to see Tool … Also saw Evanescence on Friday the 13th, October.

Hmmm, Tool is king and Friday the 13th was my Birthday :D ... but i won't comment on the Evanescence show.

I saw Kamphire Collective, Pigeon John, Lyrics Born, and Cut Chemist last week. One frackin' good show of hip-hop. I had too much fun that night as I also got to see the end of Viva Voce. :D

I won't go into detail but everyone was on that night. My favorite part was when Chemist shot video of the crowd then stuck the DVD into his pioneer and scratched that very footage to Alphabet Aerobics!!!

Sick … :)

I might be seeing Built to Spill tomorrow ... we shall see.

The last concert I went to was Virgin Festival in Baltimore on Sept. 23. Saw the Chilli peppers, the Who, the Killers, Gnarls Barkley and many more bands. It was 10 hours of awesome music.

I went with my brother to see Lily Allen in Bristol last night. She was absolutely brilliant. Very entertaining with a great band behind her :)

Also had a good support band - The New Young Pony Club - who were like a clash of punk and 80's New Wave!

Shame about the two hour drive home, bloody road works, diverted traffic half way to Bath just to turn around and come back the same way...

The Evanescence show was for my girlfriend initially. She really likes their music. I'll be completely honest, though, and say that once the show got going, I enjoyed it very much. They sounded excellent, the bass was incredible and I personally have always thought Amy Lee had an amazing voice.

It wasn't so bad. :)
