Been to any concerts lately?

Saw Devotchka at the Fillmore in Denver, CO on Oct. 27th.
EVERYONE was in costume, especially the band and the acrobats. (THERE WERE ACROBATS!! They were cute too) :cool:

I'll be seeing The Mighty Mighty BossToneS in December, be jealous if you know the band, ;).

Hopefully will also be seeing Third Eye Blind, A Wilhelm Scream, and The Fall of Troy shortly..
 
Driving my 13 and 17 year olds to Tampa to see Avenged Sevenfold at Jannus Landing in a couple weeks. The week after that we're having a bash in Fort Myers with 3 Days Grace, Papa Roach, Alter Bridge, Another Animal, Hellyeah and Coheed & Cambria. We'll be there. Should rock :eek:
 
Duff-Man says....I've got tickets for Richard Hawley in Seattle on Dec. 10 - that should be a really good one as he's such a good writer/singer, also a terrific sense of humour...oh yeah!
 
I saw the foo fighters and serj tankian last night at the Birmingham nec (uk) one of the best gigs ive been to this year that makes it the second time ive seen the foos play next week im going to see heaven and hell and supporting then is lamb of god and iced earth and the week after im going to see the black crusade with machine head, arch enemy , trivium, shadows fall ,dragonforce. Cant wait its going to be kick ass :D
 
I saw RAGE this tuesday. The concert was great. A german power-metal band is absolutely top-notch!
 
i went to the black crusade last night it was kick ass the set list was brilliant
shadows fall,arch enemy,dragon force,trivium,machine head who were the best ive ever seen them there was one massive circle pit :D i couldent get enough im hurting now tho but ive just orderd tickets to see megadeth for feb next year :D cant wait
 
Last night.. Naturally 7 opened for Michael Bublé. The best concert I have ever been too, he was delightful, Naturally 7 are wicked cool- check them out on youtube to get the full feeling. Michael Bublé was an absolute treasure!

Oh, and as a bonus, Emily Blunt was sitting across the isle from me. She is exceptionally pretty.

Good to know...I have tickets for the feb24th gig in Detroit, and due to work I have been travelling a lot to Mexico, and now I have a conflict: Feb 24th Iron Maiden in Mexico City....Probably I will sell the Foo Fighters ticket, and the catch them when they go to Toronto later this year.

I haven't seen Iron Maiden since the 2000 Brave New World Tour in NYC, and in Fear of the Dark 92' tour.

Hopefully my Brother will join my in Mexico to see them, this will be his first IM concert.

I'm going to see Korn, and some otehr less significant bands (30 Seconds To Mars, Chris Cornell, Good Charlotte, Kaizer Chiefs, Muse and Prime Circle) in March (I hope)
 
Not exactly *going to a concert, but I just bought U2 Live at Slane Castle 2001. This is a group you've gotta see to get into, I think...

I wish I could've been at this one. And here's hoping they tour NY somewhere in the future :)
 
Went to see Megadeth about 10 days ago. Great concert.

I've got a ticket to see Jean Michel Jarre play Oxygene in 3 weeks time.

Also looking forward to Queensryche/Operation Mindcrime live in June, and Iron Maiden at Twickenham in July!
 
Saw the Bluetones a few weeks ago they were ok.
My next one is Stiff Little fingers on St Patricks night at the Barras in Glasgow nothing else planned yet..
This has been a slow year for me on the concert front so far.
Last year was good I saw quite a few including Peter Gabriel, Crowded House (twice) Marillion, Squeeze, The Stranglers, The Feeling, My Chemical Romance

Well it turns out that my Brother didn't make it to Mexico, so I went to the Foo Fighters in Detroit, it was a great concert, however sometimes the sound wasn't the best I heard, last year I was went there to Nickelback and sound was much better. The Foo's acoustic show was awesome, during that part of the show the sound was without any doubt way better than when they were at the main stage.

Only been to one or two gigs so far this year... Saw 'Reel Big Fish' the other week; they were awesome, as always. 'Elbow' is coming up in about a month, too.

Am just waiting for Deftones to announce a tour for later this year...
 
Any String Cheese Incident fans in the house? Going to go see EOTO tonight, can't wait to get my groove on.

I saw Ballyhoo (not bad, never heard of them before), Story of the Year (better than I was expecting) and 311 (pure awesomeness) last night.
