With everyone talking about what is needed and what isn’t and judging other people’s purchasing decisions I’ll just say, I am personally switching from the Zens Dual+Watch Qi charger that I have on my nightstand currently. That thing makes an awful electric whine sound and, if only due to Belkin’s partnership with Apple, I am confident that this won’t do that.

I’m referring to MagSafe, and have been since my OP.
This notion that MagSafe is in any way more cumbersome (or in your words 'not as simple') on the Belkin simply makes no sense to me. On a standard wireless charger there is no resistance. On the Belkin there is barely any. That's literally the difference. And that's what you are so hung up on. I simply don't understand it at all.

Mag or no mag. Keep arguing guys. It is quite pointless at this stage to keep debating. Why bother getting iPh12 if you really don’t like magnet feature. U can stop since that purchase decision.
And then there are guys keep entertaining them back and forth.

This is just personal decision. Go, or no Go. We aren’t 2 years old and not required to get approval from any other whatsoever.

I am here for release news and all I see is rubbish.

Aren’t you guy enough arguing with today world’s news. Please bring it somewhere else. Apologies if I have to be very straight talking.

We should have a separate thread with topic for debate such as this silly matters.

One last time...the Apple MagSafe charger attaches to the 12 Pro Max with a magnet, which has to be physically pulled/detached/removed from the phone upon retrieval. Non-MagSafe and non-magnetic Qi wireless chargers have nothing that needs to be physically pulled/detached/removed from the phone. That’s why I prefer them over MagSafe. I’m waiting on a 15w Qi wireless charging puck, not the duo, sold by Apple. This doesn’t exist right now. Do you understand? If not, just move along already. I get it, you like MagSafe. Awesome, great. Good for you. It doesn’t change the reality of what I’ve mentioned. I also never mention Belkin in any post except one to say I’ve liked their products.

How baffed can you be? He couldn’t have said it any simpler for you. The iPhone 12 lineup is compatible with both MagSafe and Qi chargers. That means you can literally go and get a Qi charger and that will give you this “Safe” charger you dream about with no magnets. I’m guessing you already know that and your ignorance is just an act  but thought I’d clarify incase you‘re confusing other people.

And please point me to a Certified Qi wireless charging puck, sold by Apple, for the iPhone 12 Pro Max that can charge at 15w. I’ll wait.

Still waiting...and waiting...and waiting...

Multiple Apple products can be wireless charged at the same time with one charger is good gadget but the magnet ? Not so sure much value add than cost.

Your example only applies to the MagSafe charger. You can remove your iPhone from both the Duo and Belkin with one hand. In that instance it's just as easy as a standard wireless charger.

So yes, I agree if we are talking strictly about the standard MagSafe charger. I do not agree with this notion however that the Duo or Belkin are anymore more cumbersome than a standard wireless charger.

And I never said that the Duo or Belkin were more cumbersome. We agree on one point, I’m good with that.

If you have a MagSafe case, it works just fine - they have additional magnets inside of them for accessories
Thanks for the useful tip! Back when I received my 12Max, it was tough to find anything before Christmas. All I could find was an OtterBox Defender. I figured I would come across a nicer case in time to return the OtterBox within the extended return of Christmas purchases. To my surprise, I sorta-kinda like the OtterBox Defender, combined with a ZAGG screen protector. Make no mistake; this set-up is ugly, and the equally ugly belt-clip is convenient with such a large phone. 🤮

I wonder for how long. I have a bunch of rewards and coupon for bestbuy.
No idea. I find it really curious that the product page was deleted entirely from Best Buy. My guess is some decision was made at the last minute to make it an Apple exclusive. For now at least.

I'm buying one, although I think it's way TOO EXPENSIVE, but either way, I wanted to try it out

just ordered mine. was going back and forth on different brands on Amazon and none of them met my interests including the previous belkin model. that model didn’t have the wireless charging for the airpod pro.
i had one by mophie, i liked it, but it was annoying placing the iPhone Max on it, it had to be set in a certain area and it was annoying, that is why I think this Belkin one will be better for my needs

My old Anker angled upright backside charger charges my iPhone 12 Pro Max just fine, either case-less or with any one of of the 3 of my iPhone 12 Max cases. It gets charged every other night to keep it above 50%. Magsafe is nice but you certainly don't need it. I bought one. It just sits in my miscellaneous stuff box.

This looks great on the night stand and it works perfectly fine. EXACTLY what I was expecting and hoping for. Also, don’t have to have three different plugs on both sides of the bed plus our plug ins for iPads and MBP. Add the two lamps and the plugs for my wife and I have gone from 12 to 8. It is completely silent as well (someone complained of a noisy Qi charger earlier). We got ours delivered today (Sunday) and it works great with the 12 Pro and MagSafe case.

If no photos then it never happened
