Figures, I just bought one for $1,234 from them on Friday! Any way I can take my receipt back and get a refund for the difference short of returning the laptop and paying the restocking fee, then repurchasing it?

You might have to pay open box, but it might work.

They'll do a price match for the difference at the service desk. I've done that on many items at Best Buy before, including Macs, and have never had a problem as long as you're still within the return policy/price match window (which you obviously are if you just bought it on Friday).

What is the return policy/price match window? I bought my 13 for $1234 on October 30th.

Looking at the back of a receipt I have, it's 14 days for computers unless you're a Reward Zone Premier Silver member, in which case it's extended to 45 days.

Man, I bought mine from there a little over two weeks ago. Better check my receipt if I can get a price match!

Just be nice and they will do it for you ... think they price match within a week any competitors price ( including them as their own competitor ).

This has got to be better than any of the Black Friday Deals! Even with Tax it only cost me about $1166! Been watching and was planning to wait until Black Friday, but based on last year's black friday prices I wasn't expecting much more than $100. Even with Tax this is even cheaper! I was thinking about the 256GB model, but this price is too good to pass up.

Same, luckily I live by Delaware so I didn't have to pay tax. Leave me more money for a case, and maybe a OWC SATA3 SSD.

Very tempting.....I'd prefer the 11" though, so I'm hoping for an even further discount on it at some point this week. I may have to reconsider the 13".....

Trying to see if MacMall does price match's. The rep sent me a link to authorized Apple reseller's and Best Buy isn't on the list.

Gah, such a great deal. Wish I had $1099!

Not sure if I'd prefer it over my 11in though... #FirstWorldProblems

MacMall would only price match if I went to their retail store. Oh well it was worth a shot.

Really wish this was the 256gb model. I have a 2010 MBA which recently broke and cannot to be fixed or covered under AppleCare and I think this would be just as fast but I was using about 150gigs on the old one... I did just buy a case to turn my old ssd into an external drive. Can the 2010 ssd be put into the 2011 model?
Also is there a big hit between i5 and i7? I'm not doing anything all that CPU intensive.
