Ahhh, I don't know what to do!!! I just ordered a refurb 15" MBP from the refurb store and it's expected to be delivered next week. I already have a SSD and 8GB RAM waiting for it (Not opened yet), but I don't really do too much CPU intensive, but wanted the 15" screen. I am giving my PC to my mother and because of this need something now, but I am debating returning the refurb and getting in on this BBY deal.....If they come out with a 15" air/thin pro, I'll be all over that, but would like to minimize my loss by buying the MBA and returning the 15" MBP. I think I could live with a 13" screen with a high res screen, but this will be my first apple computer since the mac my parents bought on Christmas when I was a kid in '92. Sorry for the rant, but I can't make up my mind - good thing I have some options.

I say keep the 15in you ordered. Aside from the weight you aren't missing anything. I have both the 13in Air and 15in Pro. While I love my Air. I would give it up before my 15in with 8GB and SSD.

Cool, thanks for the input. I really would like to wait for the new 15" MBP/Air, but with me giving up my current Lenovo to my mom, I need something now...I may actually wait until the refresh in 2013 to let Apple work out the kinks if it is redesigned.

There is. No restocking or open box fee at Beatbuy. The did away with it . I purchased a MacBook pro 13 from them last month and then returned it after string a better deal on an apple refurb. It was open and used and there was no fee.

Really?!?! You got 2 months worth of use for $200... Call it a wash.

Remember, Karma is a b*tch.

HAhhahaha, wait, what? how is that a karma? This is my first Apple product. Ok, I see where Apple and I are going next, it definitely ain't getting a penny of mine anymore.

Well, good luck then finding any manufacturer that will let you return a computer 2+ months later after making a purchase from them simply because Best Buy had the gall to put it on sale for less than what you paid.

yeah, I know you'll probably say, so what? It's only $200 in less than 2 months. That's nothing for what I make at Wall Street.

Ok, please, refrain yourself, Mr.One percent! It's only 1%, watch me make to the top 0.0001% one day.BUT, I am still upset at this.

Haha. I had to do it.

Really? My receipt from last Friday shows a restocking fee for computers. I believe it was 10%. Curious to know if this is true or if there is no restocking fee now.

I sold my 2011 MBP tonighht and went right over to Best Buy and got my brand new MBA MC965LL/A. Very happy even though it has a Toshiba SSD.

Get this... I just received my new 2010 13" Ultimate and it has a Samsung drive! My 11" Ultimate 2011 I purchased last week has a Toshiba.

Go figure! ~MacMall is giving 2010's away!

I wish Apple would allow you to configure a i7 128GB.

How exactly can you purchase an i7? On the Apple website I don't see the option. Am I missing something? All I see is i5 for all 4 models.

You have to select the $1599 256 version. You can upgrade the processor to an i7 when configuring it.

Does anyone know if Best Buy will extend this offer past the 23rd? Maybe keep it through the Holiday shopping season?

Picked up one yesterday...or should I say I caved. Hard. Been looking at getting one for the last few months and kept putting it off. This deal was the dealbreaker for me. Every store around here was out except for one store 70 miles away. Well worth the drive/time.

Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!! Well worth the wait. Even ended up with a Samsung SSD to boot. Woohoo!

Now to figure out what sleeve/case to get for it.:D

I went and checked them out yesterday. Awesome deal for sure. I'm not so worried about which SSD it has in it. Speed difference is not that significant and I may get an OWC 6G which will kill either the Samsung or Toshiba. The real issue is which display you get. The LG is CLEARLY inferior, at least to my eyes, to the Samsung. I know there is a custom color file for the LG. Tried to install it at Best Buy but didn't have their administrative password.

Just purchased my first ever Apple computer. :)

Took me a damn hour of waiting to get it though.
