Stainless Steel for 249.00, 300.00 off:eek: I bought one for the wife. She could care less about the new watches which is a plus for me LOL. Get em while they last folks

i saw that last night and it gives me pause about keeping my series 2.... but it IS noticeably faster!

I'm lucky that my wife doesn't follow technology and is overjoyed with the series 0. I have the series 1 and it is noticeably faster to me but she couldn't care less:)

For someone who never had an AW the SS S0 looks fine and will do the job with WatchOS3 - but the battery life will be fairly bad if you workout. If you are coming to AW S1 or S2 the S0 will feel lethargic. The S2 is far faster - and it's not a "nice to have"; it makes the watch far less frustrating (i.e., smooth) to use in most any circumstance. The S0 is just slow to boot, to load anything, it locks up or stutters. Watch OS3 improved this a LOT but it's still nowhere near the S1/S2.

I had S0 SS since launch and had WatchOS3 on it all summer. It does improve the watch... but the S2 is just much better. It's all relative I suppose.

Personally, I would only recommend a S0 at any price now to someone who just wants notifications, time, and basic workouts. That's it. And for some people - that's awesome! If you want to do any more with it though.... definitely S1 or S2.

Honestly, with only an $80 difference between Series 1 and Series 0, I would think that Series 0 should be much cheaper than it is for what you get. Series 1 is a much smarter buy for most people.

You say "S2 is far faster" … faster than S1?

I've read other threads with conflicting info, it seems S1 and S2 have the CPU, but the S2 has a newer GPU. Would the newer GPU make the S2 noticeable faster than the S1?

debating now to return one i bought USED on an auction site that has 1yr left of AC+ OR buy one from BB w/ 2 new years of AC+ for basically $100 more than what i paid for the used one & comes with a leather loop than the black sports band my USED one came with. hmmmm

I picked up one locally off craigslist a 42mm black stainless with brown leather band and 1 year of applecare + left for $250, thought it was a super steal until i saw this lol. I've seen clearance on apple stuff before but not half off. I mean i got AC plus and the 42mm (which is $349 on bestbuy site) I really want the faster speed but not at $700 plus tax vs $250 .

Placed an order for a link bracelet space black for $350 last night. Cheaper than the band by itself. Let's see if it actually will ship.

Also, the 42mm SS on Leather Loop dropped from $399 last week down to $349, which seems like a great deal to me!

These are just going to keep dropping until they're gone. It's a discontinued product. How low will it go?!

I have half a mind to get this for my wife to replace her sport version gen 1 Watch. But then I don't know that there is much of a point. She's happy with the Watch she has and at this rate I'd be lucky to get $100 for it lol.

No. The S1 an S2 have identical dual core chips and the new GPU. It's far smoother/faster than the S0 (original AW).

just got that one. w/ AC+ & taxes it was $430 for me. not bad IMO. i bought a used one recently that i'm returning for $90 less than that w/ 1yr left on AC+ and it came with a sports band. much prefer a brand new one and a better band along with another year of AC+.

i wish it was the 42... i woulda whipped out my CC

in a heart beat.

how are you guys getting them so quick? are you opting to pay for 2 day shipping?
