You guys are so lucky to get yours! I hope this doesn't mean everyone who didn't get their iPad2 call today in this big shipment will have to wait a long time for the next shipment.

Nothing yet in Michigan at all...they all said nothing since the original shipment.
We have 3, maybe 4 Apple stores, but 3 in the Metro area and have not checked with them.
We're leaving on a trip April 13th and do need it by then, not in a huge rush but very poorly handled by Apple from a planning standpoint.
Good News for those in the midwest- 64 GB/ ATT 3G are arriving in store. Headed to pick up our order as I just received the call.
Finally got the call today just after 11. I had checked stock online yesterday and I knew they had it and that I was near the top of the list, guess they were holding off until today to make calls.
BTW, I reserved a 16gb white wifi in Dallas, TX at the Park Ln store on the 12th.

So lucky. My store says there in stock too called after all these hopeful messages, and the guy on the other end said "if it came in we would have called you already, the online inventory is in accurate." what a bummer.

I got the call a few mintues ago from BB in Elk Grove, CA...but since I had gotten one from Target last week, I just told them to give it to the next person in line. so yeah, big shipment today

The store nearest me doesn't have the model I reserved, but the next closest both do. Guess I picked the wrong store!

Stopped at a BB near a meeting I was going to and, surprise they had a 32 GB black WIFI available. Now I have reserved a 3G version at another Best Buy but had heard nothing. So I buy it. They say I have 2 weeks to return it, if the one I reserved comes in. I hope that's true.
10 minutes later as I am sitting down in my meeting, I get a call from my BB saying my order didn't come in today, but they have an extra white 32 GB WIFI if I want it, I tell them no, but keep me on the list. I'm greatful that they called to ask if I wanted a substitute.
I'm in Nashville, so they are arriving, at least here.

I was finally able to get mine at Best Buy in Wisconsin. I had reserved a 64 GB ATT Black iPad at Best Buy on the 14th. I hadn't heard anything since. I knew that they were probably getting tons of calls, so I was trying to be patient and not bother them. I finally gave up this afternoon and called and asked how things were going with the reservations. I got a very friendly gal who asked what type I had reserved and said that she would check for me. She came back and said that they hadn't gotten that model in black yet, but had one available in white. In amazement I asked if it was available to buy and she said yes. I asked them if they would hold it for me and again they said yes. I got to the store and there was one other person purchasing an iPad. They had mine behind the counter.
I really wanted black, so I asked if they happened to have a smaller one available in that color. The guy helping me said he would check, he came back and said they actually had a couple in 64Gb AT&T in Black available. They also had some 16GB Verizon ones in black that weren't reserved. He got my paperwork out from the reservation and I was able to get the one I had wanted along with a 16GB for a friend.
I was amazed. Nothing was showing as in stock online, so I am extremely happy to have finally gotten one. Now just hoping that the one I got doesn't have any issues.

Two BB stores in Kansas City, MO were showing some stock today for black 64gb wifi and AT&T 3G. I called each store and they said all were being held for preorders. I had a preorder for a Verizon Black 64gb at one BB.
I preferred the Verizon but would have taken an ATT or a wifi (and used my iPhone as a hotspot).
So, I decided to call the Apple Store on the Plaza in Kansas City around 12:30. Lo and behold, they had 3 Verizon 64gb's left! They said they could not hold it for me but decided to try. I'm currently syncing my new Verizon 64gb black iPad 2! They said it's the first day they have had any iPad stock last that long into the day.

Hey xy2j: FYI...Brickyard and Avon received shipments today. Unfortunately for me, no 32GB AT&T white. They said that I was first on the list for one which is good. I tried to see if they had any extra AT&T, in any size or color but no luck. The guy I was talking to thought they would get more tomorrow. Hopefully yours came in at the Avon store!

Brookfield, I stopped by this evening right before closing on my way home and they still had some available.
Got mine today, too from the Mayfair Best Buy in Wauwatosa, WI. I had reserved a black 32gb wi-fi on March 12th and was 5th or 6th on the list. Got the call around noon and picked up shortly after that. I asked if this was the first shipment they had gotten since launch and they said it was and that it was all for reservations. Loving this thing so far! Only noticed a very small area of backlight bleeding in the bottom left corner, but it wasn't very noticeable. In fact, I'd say that having it on all day seems to have cleared it up to the point where I don't see it anymore. PHEW!
Just went to the Park Meadows BB (in Englewood CO) and they had just received a shipment of iPads.
Here's the thing: Before I went out there, I did an online inventory search; the inventory DID show up using the inventory links on this forum, but when I went there without telling them I was on the reservation list, they acted like they didn't have any. When I told them I was on the list and which model, she then told me about the shipment and quantity.
So while the online inventory shows they're in-stock, unless you're on the reservation list, you're going to waste your time going there.

Reserved an ATT 32 gb on the 14th. The inventory tracker showed in stock 2 days ago. I called to check my reservation and they said there were none in stock and they would call me when it becomes available. I am impatient so I call the next day and lo and behold, they tell me to come in to pick it up. I doubt they would have ever called me otherwise.
Oh well, Ipad is charging thanks to some persistence.
