I just ordered this one, it seems to be the best of showing off and still protecting my new black iPod.

The photos on the site are clearly just digital recreations... I'm wondering if you could post some photos of what it actually looks like.

I'm getting a black 5G, and trying to decide between this and the Agent 18 clear case. Thanks

Oh, and anyone know where to get the Belkin Flip Case for 5G iPod? (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_ID=253353#) Maybe it's too new, so it's not widely available... but I really like the Belkin cases.

Today, i ordered the Agent 18 case for my yet to be purchased 5th Gen. iPod. I'm gonna wait until the case ships to order my new iPod. I have the Agent 18 mini shield for my mini and it's great.

Man being in Europe sucks sometimes.
I tried to order 2 invisible shields for my 5G 60 GB. The price for 2 invisible shields would be around 50 $ add the shipping fee and you get a total of 100 $.
That's insane.
I need a case now.

I can hear my ipod scratching itself at night when i sleep.

Well, that's only if you want to pay for the expensive UPS shipping. I live in Chile, and I ordered an Invisible Shield with free shipping (regular mail). It did take 22 days to get here, but I wasn't in a hurry, because I still don't have the iPod (should get here today...)

I just got my IPOD 5G a few days ago and I have the zcover case however I don't like the fact that the screen protector is a separate piece and it kind of "floats" over the IPOD screen. It moves around to much for my liking on the screen, I am afraid that if it is in my pocket the screen may move to much and scratch my IPOD screen. I have an invisible shield arriving tomorrow. I am concerned about it a bit because it looks like it will take a long time to install and you have to get it wet to place on your IPOD. It appears to be worth it though. The IPOD Video has been out for a while I am surprised on the lack of cases for it. Right now my IPOD is going to stay in the box it came in till I get a decent cover for it. My first IPOD 5g I had to take back becasue the battery was not charging and it had a few scratches on the screen from the zcover when I took it back so I don't want to place the new IPOD in that cover.

Just got my Agent 18 case for my ipod with video. Totally killer case indeed! Outstanding protection and ohhh so cool look.
Definitely the best case out there by far that I've seen.

Also, no problems with the Agent 18 case scratching the ipod. The case is in two halves that snap together as opposed to sliding the iPod into a sleeve like case (like most covers) which can certainly scratch you precious pod..
I could not say enough good about this case. Only thing is that it won't fit in the dock when the case is on the iPod, but if you don't mind filing down the outer edges of the snap in adapter that comes with your iPod (to make it fit in the dock), it will fit since only the width is an issue, the thickness is still OK.

I just ordered this case on Saturday. How long did it take for your case to arrive?

I can't tell by the pictures but with the Agent 18 case is the bottom exposed so you can plug the sync cable in with out having to take it out of the case?

Not sure about the 5th Gen. iPod case, but it is on my Agent 18 mini shield.

How scratch proof are the Agent 18 cases? I have the invisible shield on order and should be at my house today but I am thinking of buying the Agent 18 Video Shield instead and returning the IS.

Ordered my Agent18 video shield on 11/28, they've just gotten to the processing stage. High demand I guess.

It's a hard plastic shell. So unless you take a hammer to it and beat the crap out of it, it's invulnerable to scratches.

Look at the pics on the agent18 website. They have pics for all angels of the videoshield. Look at the pics again.

Mine is pretty scratched up. I don't really care, though, as long as my iPod is protected. I dropped my iPod earlier (on carpet) and it felt good knowing it was in a hard case and protected.

It took 7 days and your order has not even shipped yet? What level of shipping did you ask for? I just ordered mine last night but I chose two day shipping so I hope to get it this week.

Just got the Agent18 Video Shield for my 30 Gig iPod Video. I had it pre-ordered and then shipped 2nd Day Air.
For a brief review, I'll say that I am impressed so far. The quality seems high. The majority of the case is frosted, with the exception of the area covering the screen and a small window in the back that reveals the Apple logo. :) The frosting makes the black look a little silvery, which I enjoy. It snaps together easily and securely.
My fiancee joked that I was performing surgery to put it on. I'm very serious about things of this nature, so I had the iPod laid out on a microfiber cloth while I gave it and the case a good going over with some iKlear. Once streak and spot free, I popped it into the case. It fits very well, and slides into the front half with enough resistance to let you know that it's a good fit, but not so much that you feel you might damage it.
If there's any interest or concern, I may be able to take and post a picture or two. So far, my only concern is a small white line running from the top center of the clickwheel to the bottom of the screen. Looks like something to do with the molding process. It doesn't affect function in the least, but is perhaps a minor cosmetic flaw.
I also have not had the chance to drop it to test protectiveness, and with all due respect, I'm not about to throw my iPod down the stairs, even for you kind people. :)
So far, I'd give it a strong A!

My only fear is if the screen part of the shield gets scratched up it will make it hard to watch video on the IPOD. With that being said though I think I will stick with the Agent 18 case and return the invisible shiled. I recieved my IS today but the click wheel piece was missing :( I also don't feel comterable putting it on I know I would screw it up.

I'm not sure how much the scratches on the screen will affect video playback. My Agent 18 case on my mini got pretty scratched on the screen area. I guess I'll just have to wait and see when I get my 5th Gen. iPod and Video Shield.

Does anyone plan on putting a screen cover over their ipod before they put it in the Agent 18 case, since The 5G scratches so easily?

I love my Invisible Shield, I don't even feel it necessary to have an actual case for it like I did for my old 4G 20gig. I've convinced four people here at work to get one and they're all very happy with their Shields.

I think the main reason why I like it is that I know my iPod's protected about as well as it could be, and I don't need to worry about putting it in a big ugly bulky case. :)
