iPod Best Case for 5G 30GB Video iPod?

The 30GB and 60GB have different thicknesses, could this be a problem when buying a case (for example; for the 30 GB, the case would not be snug enough; or the opposite problem for the 60GB, because it might be too tight)?

I really like the look of the leather incases cases, but I'm afraid it will be a little loose on a 30 GB. (which BTW are at the Apple Store now)

Anybody know?

iskin.com just updated the picture of their new case for the ipod video...doesn't look as nice as the concept picture...but i'm waiting for more pictures...looks like it is going to be available on the 8th...can't wait...or can i....????
 
Agent18 VideoShield and InvisibileShield

I ordered an Agent 18 VideoShield and an InvisibleShield for my Black 60G. Will I be able to use them simultaneously or will I need to decide on which one to use?

I think the main reason why I like it is that I know my iPod's protected about as well as it could be, and I don't need to worry about putting it in a big ugly bulky case. :)

Most companies don't use 1 size fits all cases, they make different versions for different iPod models. Agent18 for example has a 30GB and 60GB version of its VideoShield.

Heh, Episode 404: Blind Ambition. Family Guy is the absolute best thing to watch on my lunch break at work: short and very funny. I also have some Battlestar Galactica and a few other things, but I find that the quality reduction due to the iPod formatting is far less noticeable in animation.
 
Umm, well, it isn't the worst thing I've ever seen, and as far as I know it didn't scratch my iPod. But it isn't a permanent solution for me. I doubt it would do much against a bump, or heaven forbid, a drop.
Overall: for a freebie pack-in, it's a A-. For a stand-alone product... Let's just say it better cost less than $5.

If you're talking about the included case, I couldn't get mine on because I have the Agent 18 video shield and it wouldn't fit.

I stuck on an invisibleshield for my 30g, so it makes it kind of difficult to slip in and out of the case. Actually by now it's stretched a bit so it's alright.

But if you keep the ipod in your pocket, the bag it comes with becomes pretty dirty... I personally dont care as mine turned blue (from my new jeans) because I plan to get a more firmer case in the future, like the Belkin holster.

But really, I only consider it a temporary case. It's not that amazing and picks up dirt from anything... I suggest you invest in a better case.
 
Agent 18 Videoshield Wet Spot Problem

Hi. I just got my agent18 60G case and when I put it on the ipod I notice wetspots on the left and right side of the clickwheel. i cleaned it many times and put it back on but the spots are still there. the spots looks like thin vertical lines. anyone have this problem? also anyone have agent18 phone number? thanx!

A+ for the Agent 18 case today, and APPLE STORES HAVE THESE IN NOW!!! I just went to the store at the Florida Mall and they had a bunch of them. And what's great is I got mine for $13! Hahahaha. The kid at the register couldn't figure out how to put the credit card through so the manager walked up, pushed him out of the way and rang it through for $13 and told me "Merry Christmas!" He is definitely my new best friend. But I have an Agent 18 case for my iPod mini as well and the only thing I could complain about it is that the case does not cover the edges, but this has been fixed with the VideoShield. I love Agent 18, such a great company!

ive pretty much decided on getting the agent 18 case for my black 5g, but how much is the shipping when ordering from their site? I know the apple store in my area has em, but they wont be putting them on sale anytime soon (40% cupon mentioned earlier).

The base shipping method is about $6.95
 
Core cases are releasing a 5G version of their nano case in January. As the Core is the best case I've had for my nano (I've had a Contour iSee, Power Support Crystal Jacket and an iSkin Duo) it'll be the one I want. Black aluminium on a black iPod looks great!
 
I was out today looking around at Best Buy and Circuit City... (I really wanted a Agent18 for my 5G 30GB Video... but my local Apple Store was out and I needed a case of some sort tonight.. I may still get the agent18... But...) My Best Buy didn't have any iPod left and with the iPods went all the
5G cases they had... circuit city had only one case left for a 5G... I was sceptical at first and was just gonna wait for the agent18.. but I decided to try this one out.. it is made by Pacific Design... it's a leather flip case... and I'm very happy with it... it has a protective screen, but I just put it in the case with the iPod lamenant from time of purchase still on.. i just cut off the bottom part... works and looks great.. stylish too.. :)

I Need Help

I know that I shouldnt have waited so long to buy ANYTHING for xmas but, I was looing at a silicone case except none of them have screen protectors on them I was curious if you could use a PDA screen cover to reduce scratches. PLEASE ADVISE!!!!:confused: OH its for a new (i guess) G5 30gig video ipod.
 
the agent18 hardcases are my favorite!! i just got a 60gb ipod from barrettd, and i know i'm getting apple store GCs for xmas and intend on buying an agent18 case. yay i'm excited. i also need an fm transmitter. i was using the belkin tunebase with my ipod mini but i'm looking at itrips.

For those that have the Agent 18 case for the 30 GB iPod Video, approx how thick is it? I want to order one but am wondering if my belt clip will fit on it? It is an old Lajo plastic black belt clip which fit around my 3G 15 GB iPod with a silicone case. I am looking for a case that I can use while running, etc.

Those PDA protectors can muffle up the clarity of the screen, a negative when trying to watch videos.

Just so you know there's a 40% off coupon floating around here, so with shipping that brings the agent 18 to a little over $21.

Invisibleshield is by far the favorite around here. It's expensive but worth it. A lot of the Imitators are really low quality.
