It wouldn't have been too early if it was "the best movies of 2009 so far" but that's not what it was.

You are not alone...I havent seen much because I haven't been interested in 2009. the few I watched I liked such as: Defiance The Road 500 Days of Summer District Nine Moon Whip It Star Trek Away We Go Avatar: Nice visuals but the script itself was nothing special I saw the new movie with George Clooney and I can't see why the critics are going ape over it.
