This is the screen protector I had on my 11 Pro Max. I am hoping they release their iPhone 12 Pro Max screen protectors soon. It came with 3 protectors. I screwed up installing the first one due to user error not product error. I got the 2nd one on flawlessly. It was perfect for an entire year up until a month ago when my 1 year old threw my phone and it was demolished but there was no damage whatsoever to the iPhone screen underneath it.

I will never understand why people pay for the obscenely overpriced screen protectors.

I highly recommend the ESR screen protector. No notch cutout, no black outline - just full coverage. It comes with a tray which didn’t scratch my phone. I bought 3 protectors from Amazon for $16.99 with next day delivery.

I did have to install it myself but it was easy peasy with the tray and in a steamy bathroom to control any dust. I’m super picky and did a great install in less than 5 minutes.

That’s great. I’m thinking of picking one up for my max pro.

Just curious, how tight does the plastic tray go over the phone? I’m afraid it might scratch the pro’s frame.
Thanks.

I've been a huge fan of Spigen's EZ FIT GLAS.tr screen protectors. You get two in a pack and they each come with an applicator that makes putting it on your phone foolproof, and you get a perfect fit every time.

I put on 3 protectors 1 on the 12 Pro and 2 on the 12’s with no scratches. It’s a good fit bit not too tight.

Price of the ESR screen protectors has gone from $9.59 on October 15th to $17.99 for a pack I ordered today. I guess the word is out.

I just bought the Otterbox screen protecter for the iPhone 12 pro from Target and it’s one of the better screen protectors I have owned. It comes with a bracket to ensure proper alignment.

Is there a big difference between the expensive $30-$40 screen protectors and the $10 screen protectors? I spent way to much time last night looking at so many different screen protectors, and I'm not sure why one is worth 3x more than another except the cheap one is from some random company based out of China and the expensive protector has a fancy website and is seemingly from a US-based company.

With the Belkin at least Apple installs it for you and I can almost justify the cost for that alone what with my poor experience self-installing protectors.

I got the ESR ones and have used two already as they scratch crazily easy.

I never put my phone in a pocket with anything. Put a new protector on last night and it’s already got a large scratch down the side.

I love the ESR cases though.

Yikes. This is my first time with ESR so I can’t speak for scratch resistance. I’ve had mine on since Friday and it still looks like new. And I do put it in my pants pocket and in my purse. I don’t put it face down though.

Why is that? Would it not impact FaceID or ability to take photos?
Although it wont make a huge difference its always best not to cover lenses for the best image quality. Adding worse glass infront of the camera could affect image quality.

Im sure face id would be fine

I bought the amFilm glass screen protectors when they came up on Amazon so I got them before the phone actually arrived. I’ve used them before on other devices and never had an issue. Went on easy, looks great, and is smooth to touch. My pic emphasizes the edges for some reason, but in reality you can barely see it has a protector on.

I have the Caseology Tempered glass on my 12 Pro and I really like it, easy to install and very smooth with curved off edges and the fit is perfect.

Do you guys recommend the protectors with the black borders versus those without?

In the past, I’ve always used the ones with the black outline. The brand I use didn’t have the new ones out so I bought the ESR without the black. I like it just fine but my husband mentioned that he notices the protector more. So I’ll install a black rimmed one for him.

We are pretty fussy here at my house. LOL
