i always _always_ manage to somehow get a spec of dust under the screen protectors. ive tried for the life of me to not make it happen and it never works. I wish there was a way you could get someone to install them for less than the cost of the apple ones. I have got a cheap pack from Caseology along with my case so i will see how i go with them then work up to some better ones like Spigen if it doesnt work

In the past, I’ve always used the ones with the black outline. The brand I use didn’t have the new ones out so I bought the ESR without the black. I like it just fine but my husband mentioned that he notices the protector more. So I’ll install a black rimmed one for him.

We are pretty fussy here at my house. LOL
I’m going with the black border ones. It does appear it makes them look more seamless.

Why are some screen protectors more expensive than others? For example I might get this BodyGuardz model but it's roughly $30 for one. You can get similar models for much less on Amazon that I'm assuming are the same quality but no name brands and don't offer a lifetime guarantee?

I've been a huge fan of Spigen's EZ FIT GLAS.tr screen protectors. You get two in a pack and they each come with an applicator that makes putting it on your phone foolproof, and you get a perfect fit every time.
Probably going to grab this one once there is availability in Canada

This was a great video, and I like this guy's work, but this strikes me as an ad for Flolab, and that doesn't sit well with me. I'd rather he recommend a half dozen as the best to get versus essentially just that one.

Yea, you're right it does seem like an ad. However, he has numerous videos (which aren't ads) that say Flolab is among one the best. I do recall him saying that he would recommend the ESR tempered glass as it seems to be decent for the low price, but if you want a superior one (for not much more) Flolab is a much better option.

Yes they are. Pricey, but perfect installs using the machine.
What Machine?? I’m looking for one too. It has to be A) a perfect easy install. And B) actually invisible. A lot of these aren’t cut to exact dimensions

The screen protectors are pre-packaged. The machine is used to install the screen protector on the iPhone.

I’ve had a Bodyguardz screen protector on my XS Max for more than two years now, and it still looks pristine. No scratches whatsoever, and the oleophobic coating has not diminished. I bought it from at&t when I picked up my iPhone on launch day, and the rep installed it for me. It was expensive, but worth it imo. I also had it on my 7+ with the same result. No lifting at the edges or reduced clarity, and no notch cutout.

This year, I ordered a Totallee screen protector when I ordered the clear case for my new Pro Max. I hope I’m as happy with that one as I’ve been with the Bodyguardz.

I’m getting the Shellrus one. It’s the only real sapphire one I can find.
it’s sapphire so it’s the only one that will not scratch. I don’t drop my phones so I’m not worried about impact protection (plus the claimed 4x strength this year). The only thing I care about is those scratches. All other screen protectors are glass so they scratch, but not sapphire. The only thing scratches sapphire is diamond.

I’ve always used bestskinsever.com for my iPhones dating back to the 3G.
That being said, they don’t have an iPhone 12 skin for sale and they are proving to be very difficult to get in touch with. They don’t even acknowledge whether new screen protectors are coming. Im not sure what’s going on with them.

I love my ESR. First time I’ve used it, but on the 12 Pro it fits perfectly. Simple install too and got 3 for $9.99 at Amazon. Price has gone up since, but I’m ultra picky about screen protectors and ESR is the real deal.
$3 per screen...you get what you pay for I suppose. I've seen this glass crack by just pressing a fingernail against it.

I’ve used it for a week now. I realize that’s a short amount of time, but it’s been great so far. I don’t buy screen protectors for drop protection, but to keep my screen pristine.

I just installed the Dbrand Screen Protector on my 12 pro. It covers the whole display. I do not have any issues with the front facing camera or Face ID. It also comes with 2 protectors. The install was easy and straightforward. For $20 it was worth it for me.

I use iCarez matte screen protectors. Ever since I started using them on my iPad I had to use them on my iPhone and now I can't go back, ever. The ability to use them outside, the no glare, no fingerprints... I'm hooked.

I’m the same here. I’ve put on 3 of the ESR’s on 3 different phones and everyone likes them. The look and feel is great. It’s still early for me but I see no scratches and it’s still smudge resistant.
