Looks like only the glossy models of the Incipio Feather offer the over the lip/outer-edge protection, not the matte ones.
Some are smooth, some are matte. If it's matte, it'll say it's matte. I have the translucent mercury one and it's glossy.

Do those side flaps cover any of the screen?
What is it called?
Well the Griffin Reveal is anice option. I personally went with the Reveal Frame, which is sort of like a bumber and maintains the beauty and integrity of the iphone. will post pics later on.
@Boshii thanks for the original post, as I went out and got one. I love the look and feel! Great Case!

Hi , apple fans, who can tell me which case is thin and crazy expensive for my iPhone 4? I have got a thin case with pink color. It is extremely expensive and lightweight. It fits my iPhone perfect. However, I would like to change another brand.Who can help me? Thank u.
iphone 4 case is fit 4S .
Just picked up the transparent mercury Incipio Feather case and it's making a watermark on the back. I've got a clear protector on the back, is this what's causing it?
Edit: Removed the rear protector, watermarking appears, but not as bad as before. This is on a black 4s, so i'd guess the watermark wouldn't show as much on a white one.
Ballistic case. It's pretty meaty, but looks like a good case that protects. Be my second choice possibly after the Lifeproof (gen 2)

not to be rude but the thread title states "Best thin 4S case" not "Best THICK 4S case"
