Looks like only the glossy models of the Incipio Feather offer the over the lip/outer-edge protection, not the matte ones.

Not necessarily - I bought the white gloss for my white phone and the white gloss doesn't have the over the edge protection, I.e no edge over the buttons on the side.

Some are smooth, some are matte. If it's matte, it'll say it's matte. I have the translucent mercury one and it's glossy.

I think this is the best slim case to almost show off your white iPhone in a naked form is 0.3mm thick even slimmer than desmey slight 0.35mm too bad is only available in china, anyone seen this elsewhere?

Do those side flaps cover any of the screen?

What is it called?

the side flaps do not cover any of the screen....no idea what its called ...it was in the cheap 5 bucks and under bin at Office Depot...they had other colors too...clear, white, and blue i think.

Well the Griffin Reveal is anice option. I personally went with the Reveal Frame, which is sort of like a bumber and maintains the beauty and integrity of the iphone. will post pics later on.

I read on Amazon that the frame tends to discolor quickly. What has your experience been like?

Personally I just picked up a black and Scipio feather taste for six dollars off Amazon. The case came today. It's a great case, and offers great bumper and side protection.

Just like the one pictured above but a bit thicker and the logo is at the bottom.

Whats the feel like? Is it a hard plastic or still flexible? I have a black one now with the rubberized matte finish. So Im trying to compare the two. Is the inside softer than the outside to protect the phone?

Hi , apple fans, who can tell me which case is thin and crazy expensive for my iPhone 4? I have got a thin case with pink color. It is extremely expensive and lightweight. It fits my iPhone perfect. However, I would like to change another brand.Who can help me? Thank u.

Why do you want it to be expensive?

I received my Commuter and dislike it greatly. I just put an order in for the Incipio Feather in Translucent Waverly Turquoise. It seems that all the translucent feathers have a slight lip in front, nothing that provides tabletop coverage, but still. I am looking forward to its arrival. Anyone have this case and if so, can you post pictures??

Just picked up the transparent mercury Incipio Feather case and it's making a watermark on the back. I've got a clear protector on the back, is this what's causing it?

Edit: Removed the rear protector, watermarking appears, but not as bad as before. This is on a black 4s, so i'd guess the watermark wouldn't show as much on a white one.

I was just about to order a back protector to PREVENT that from happening, since I keep hearing about it, so I'm curious to hear the answer.

LifeProof Case (Gen 2)

(waterproof, shockproof, dirtproof, and snowproof, the company says) yet it's slimmer than virtually all the other tough cases out there, with an integrated clear plastic shield that protects your screen (and, obviously, seals your iPhone into the case)

It's also $79, but what's better? LOL

Ballistic case. It's pretty meaty, but looks like a good case that protects. Be my second choice possibly after the Lifeproof (gen 2)

not to be rude but the thread title states "Best thin 4S case" not "Best THICK 4S case"
