And scratching the phone so in the end I have to switch the damn light on to charge my device when now I just put it on there and off when I need it in the middle of the night

Wireless is so much better when going to bed..needing a fast charge is different but when you go,to bed? Wireless is needed

So basically you're using the phone in the dark without lights on your bed. Nice for your eyes.

Charging is NEEDED...wireless is an option.

No I’m talking about when I go to bed at night all that’s needed is putting it on the wireless charging stand and it’s ready to go. No need to find a cable to plug in when it’s already set up.

It’s far easier to have a stand to check the time in the middle of the night

Cables actually plugging to your phone is only needed when you need a fast charge

Best?! What do you think about 10 watts Fast Chager?

I can post the link here If you guys don't mind

Im actually looking into installing one to my nightstand too. I’ve heard reports of noise coming from the wall adapter when no phone is on the the charging pad. Do you year anything?
I would consider myself as very sound aware (I hope you know, what I mean. I‘m not a native) and haven‘t heard anything even when lying in bed next to the charger while surfing the web on my phone.

I took the plunge and installed the IKEA Rällen a couple of days ago, and I can confirm that there is no sound coming from the charger nor the pad. All is great

- T513 ($15.99) - Choetech's T513 is a rectangular charging pad measuring about 4.75 inches by 2.5 inches, with a matte black plastic top and a large gray wireless charging icon on the surface that's slightly raised to give a little bit of grip. A blue LED at one corner of charging pad lights up to let you know when your phone is charging and goes off when charging is completed.

I thought the iPhone didn't support signalling when charging is complete?

Did anyone else find that first chart overly complicated? I eventually got there, but it seemed screwy.

Yep, it's difficult to read. Time should be on the x axis, and % charged on the Y axis. Each line would represent a different charging method.

The Anker section is misleading. Both "PowerPort Qi 10" and "PowerPort Wireless 5 Charging Stand" are 5W/1A chargers.

The "10" in "PowerPort Qi 10" refers to the input power draw being 10W, but the actual power delivered is 5W. Its manual specifically lists both input and output.

Sorry for the delay in responding to these comments, but wanted to clear things up: Correct, charging complete status is only on supported devices, which doesn't include iPhone. I'll tweak the wording on that one.

The PowerPort Qi 10, also known as PowerPort Wireless 10, is indeed rated for 10-watt output. It can accept 10W (5V/2A) or 16W (9V/1.8A) input and deliver 5W (5V/1A) or 10W (9V/1.1A) output.

I am telling you. There is a brand called USAMS. and it costs 9-13 USD only.

in case you are asking for quality, it's as good as any certified brand

with 10W though.
totally! worth! it!
