Return that **** asap :) imo it doesn't looks good and, i know its a pain to let it go since it might take a while to get the 42 mm.

You have a big wrist, the milanese loop looks too narrow with the 38mm watch; hell I'm close to cancel my 42 milanese and just wait for the link bracelet cause looking at people pictures i don't think it will look good on me anymore.

If I were you, I would at least try the 42mm version when it arrives, because I think it will fit much better. That 38mm in the picture does look very tight.

Thanks everyone for your opinions again.

I agree with what others said. Looks to small on you and the band looks really tight. Definitely hold on to your 42 order and wait patiently for it to arrive, you'll be glad you did.

That fit looks like its going to stop the blood supply to your fingers. You need a larger band if you really like the 38.

I'm a a big guy with a 215mm wrist. I got the 42mm sport and the band fits great. I would honestly consider waiting for the larger watch. The comfort alone is worth it.

The first picture it looked very tight and uncomfortable as if it was pinching you. The 2nd picture after you loosened up the band looked much better! In all honesty, I looked through this whole discussion and I think the 38mm watch size does work for you. It might just be the way that the milanese band is constructed and that can be rectified by something as simple as changing out the band so I would definitely go to the Apple store and just take a look at the different bands. Ultimately though only you know how comfortable it is and if it's comfortable that's all that matters!

I really wanted the 42mm, mostly because of the extra screen real estate. However, when I tried it on, I didn't think it looked good aesthetically because I have very narrow wrists. Most people can look good with either 38 mm or a 42 mm. Since you can pull off the 42mm, I would go with that size. I think it would look and feel great and you would have that extra screen real estate to enjoy. However, I second what FSUSem1noles said- it is what is comfortable for you that really matters.

Big Apology

My wrists are pretty small and the 42 looks normal on me. She would DEFINITELY suit the 42 better.

Hey Teach, I think it looks fine! More importantly, you think so.

Being that the larger goes an extra 10mmand the watch looks a bit snug. I'd say long term you'd appreciate the extra space of the larger watch

Hey Teach4 , you sound like an great person and congratulations on getting your watch
Enjoy the experience and it really doesn't matter what size watch you wear just make sure the band fits properly

can't believe a ****ing Mickey Mouse watch face is a UI design by Apple in 2015.

Yeah, I personally hate it :p

Teach4, I never ask for opinions on forums any more - I learned the hard way it's just not a happy thing to do...all that matters is if you like it and it sounds like you do. If it's comfortable and makes you happy, keep it. If there's a tiny tiny doubt about the size, go up a size and don't look back. It's all about your personal preference.

I think it's all about what looks and feels comfortable to you.

I'm always in the minority with this watch. I actually think the 38mm looks really good on you (I'm a guy with 177mm wrist, 62mm width and opted for the 38mm. Still waiting). I don't understand everyone's interest in large watch faces. It just seems tacky to me.

I would definitely go for a bigger band, however. The band should follow the contours of your wrist and not apply enough pressure to change the shape of said contours.

One question.... Are you happy with your watch?

I agree with the other guys and say you should go with the larger one. The band now looks pretty uncomfortable. Congrats on your watch :). I'm jealous you have the Milanese? Is the band worth the extra $150?
