the man Billy mays the myth how oxi clean works so good the legend at pitching the product
 
Well, just saw one of his commercials on TV, I guess it'll be a few days before they're all pulled.

BTW, I did buy a pack of his "Hercules Hooks" after seeing them in his commercial.
 
Yeah this sucks. This guy was awesome and was an excellent pitchmen. One of my families friends owns the company that produces all the Oxi Clean product.

i respect it when a tragedy like this happens

but i over herd this when the news came on at a coffee shop
"u think someone will try to use his strategies of being loud and using hand movements to sell his family a casket"

Crazy. I was at the taping of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien this past Tuesday when Billy Mays was one of the guests. He was literally less than 10 feet away from me when he walked out of the studio after the taping was done (we were in the front row). Pretty freaky to think that he's dead, just a few days after I saw him in person.

I was never much of a fan of his loud style, but RIP.

real sad but for sully hes gonna be happy to have the limelight and be the main pitchman that people know i mean who can pitch better than him now that billy is gone a guy that beats up hookers with only 2 major pitches under his belt yeah right

serious you get to tape the late show with Conan O'Brien man thats awesome yeah that must be freaky did you tape for Leno also? i thought i heard that most of the guys from the late show with Leno got to keep there jobs is that right?

Police said Mays told his wife he didn't feel well when he went to bed Saturday night. Earlier in the day, he said he was hit on the head when his airliner had a rough landing at Tampa Bay's airport.

But the airline said no passengers reported any serious injuries, and Mays himself cheerfully recounted the landing for a local TV station. His wife, Deborah, found him unresponsive Sunday morning.

Tampa police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said linking Mays' death to the landing would "purely be speculation." She said Mays' family members didn't report any health issues with the pitchman, but said he was due to have hip replacement surgery in coming weeks.

They def. have filmed enough for the first season to finish, in the most recent episode iThink they had mentioned that they were in August. It's sad that we lost someone to a heart condition. I really like the show, it was really odd MSNBC aired a show about Direct Response Ads last night and called Billy the new king of pitching, and they made no mention even at the end of his death. The show had long ben scheduled today.
