They were shady and gave out before 6. Target was fine. Still packed though. Just trying to figure out if I can manage with 16gb

GameStop was offering extra 30% on trade in if you buy one of their selected items.
So I went to target at around 7:30pm and the line was ridiculous, so I drove to another target nearby and same thing. I decided to go home instead and wait for the iPad on Apple.com. So the football game finishes and I decide to check target online to see if they were all sold out, and the store I originally went to still had the iPad air I wanted in stock. Now the time is 11:00pm, so I get dressed and head down to the target. It took me about 10mins to get the iPad air and my gift card! Target is open 24/7 or something until tomorrow, there was still a lot of people at target even at this time of night. Check inventory online and you still might be able to score one!

Hubby got there when they opened at 8pm and it was already sold out by the time he got to front of line.
Sure glad I waited until Black Friday to purchase my Ipad Air 32GB at Target. I found Target to have the best overall "net" price on the Ipad Air 32GB. Price at Target was $599 - $100 Gift Card - 5% using Target Red Card = $469.05 (total net price) + Taxes. I shop at Target at least once a week, so easily will spend the gift card amount. I also picked up an Ipod Nano at Best Buy for $50 off. My total savings this Black Friday for Apple Ipad Air and Nano was $179.95 (net). Totally awesome!!

I was talked out of going. Didn't know they had an online checker. Now it is 12:20 and 2 stores in the area still report stock of the 32GB WiFi in White. However, they are a 25 minute drive. I wish I knew already what the Apple sale was. I think I would almost prefer a $75 Apple Gift card which I can use to buy $75 in iTunes GCs for movies, apps, and music than get $20 off retail plus the $100 Target GC. I do shop at Target. Just not that much. Having trouble talking myself into the 25 minute drive at 12:20 am for a possible $45 difference. But with Aussie and UK sales being different and no real GC info from Apple yet, it is a hard call to make.
So something happened with macmall and I couldn't order. I noticed Target had Apple Tv for $10 less ($89) so decided that with the $100 gift card I could get it for free.
The Wife pushed me over the edge and said lets go to Target
$629.99 later I walk out of Target with iPad Air 32gb and an Apple Tv with $5 left on the gift card.
I guess I win the biggest hypocrite of the year award, but ultimately the Mrs. is beyond happy......

The key is just to have a gameplan with these gift card promos.
If best buy had say a $120 gift card promo vs a $100 target gift card promo I would still choose target. It's because I would have a hard time figuring out what to buy at best buy with gift card these days
You were probably thinking same thing with target card promo and not thinking you would find something to use it on.

I am in a little bit of dilemenia. I wanted white iPad air 64gb wifi. Apparently target doesn't sell 64gb wifi in stores these days. And online is sold out. I did get 64gb black online.
I got 32gb wifi white last night.
So gotta figure out which one to keep. I prefer white. We use 30gb on iPad 3 64gb we currently have and I like to keep both iPads the same apps for the kids.

We are in central Florida. They still had plenty of even the high demand 16gb air wifi an hour after the 8pm sale began. We had friends just walk in around 915pm and get 2 iPad air16gb wifi models.
Checked online this morning and some stores still had 16gb left (most are sold out). And most stores have 32gb wifi model left

Walked right into the Apple Store here in Stamford CT at 7:15 this AM. Picked up a 32GB Air Space Grey with a $75 gift card. No lines and they appeared to have a ton of Airs and Minis ready to go.
Sure why not, you'll probably be kicking yourself tomorrow if you didn't at least go and check them out.

Really only wanted the 16gb as i refuse to pay $100 for 32gb. Get to target, 3rd in line. Was told by the manager that theres 10 airs.
I go up pay, ask for 16gb and the guy is like we only have 32gb left. Im like you sure? I look over to the lady ahead of me and shes buying the last three 16gb even though its one per person.
So i had no choice but to pay $100 more for the 32gb.
I brought it to the staff attn but they just shrugged their shoulders. Not a happu camper.
Still got the $115 gift card, but this deal is not as hot as i wanted it to be cause of some greedy lady. Greedy people make me sick to my stomach.
She screwed me over and another person. And there was 10 ppl behind me

Hmmm yeah speeding at 180 (I call BS) or any speed for an iPad sure sounds like a good move to me.
Why ask? You want one? Go get it! Enjoy it, it's a beautiful iPad.
Blame target for not enforcing their own rule. She didn't screw you over directly. She took advantage of someone being dumb enough not to enforce the rule. You HAD a choice, you could have not bought one.
No she didn't. She was within her right to buy the iPads.
If you're going to complain about anything, then complain about target not enforcing a maximum purchase restriction. Many stores only allow 2 of such products. Besides 3 iPads isn't all that much
Though I do feel for your frustration, I'd probably be just as frustrated if it happened to me.
