BlackBerry Desktop Manager Coming to Mac

Tethered here for free aswell!

I can't get this to sync with my 8900? Any obvious things I should be looking at?

I have the tour and downloaded the beta edition. I synced fine but when I'm syncing it says sync failed; however, all my contacts are there. Could this be because its the beta release?
 
Update:

Actually all the sync did was add my contacts names. No numbers, nothing. Any ideas, for those of you who have used beta and had it work?
 
It prevented my MacBook from going to sleep automatically. And it was a real pain to uninstall - the uninstaller failed every time, and even after using AppCleaner, there were still two daemons that I had to manually delete from the LaunchAgent and LaunchDaemon folders.

Just got a new official firmware for my Blackberry Storm in the UK (they don't happen very often here), and I am excited!

All we need now is RIM to launch the official mac desktop manager and I will be a very happy Blackberry owner :)

God I hope they release it soon! Not much left of September and this would make my life alot easier!

prob in 6-10 weeks... :( i'm starting to get mad...
crackberry has the berrybuzz app which i wanted for a while on sale for half off but i have no way to install :/

VmWare Fusion? Bootcamp? Parallels?

I'm getting frustrated there isn't long left of September and knowing our luck it will be pushed back.
 
New Date 2nd October

Crackberry are saying 2nd October now.... I'll need to buy a patience app from the app store, at least 1 week credit with it!
