Nobody wants a Blackberry. You are 35 years too late. Even then they were annoying POS trying to use them and the people around them.
In case if you feel your new iPhone is not top heavy enough, we have a solution just for you by shifting the center of gravity even further upwards!
The center of gravity would shift downwards but the moment on the user's wrists would increase.
Wonder how BlackBerry is feeling… 🤷🏻♂️
And upgrading your phone yearly is not?$160 BUCKS!!! Good luck with that. Even if I was remotely interested, I upgrade my phone annually, it's like throwing $160 into a bonfire.
Not really. It would be a separate device. And it would be really hard to hold both a phone and keyboard if it was detached. There isn't always a flat surface to sit the phone down and then sit a keyboard near it to type.Wouldn't a separate detached Bluetooth keyboard be more useful for those who really want the tactile experience? I can see something slightly bigger than an Airpods case being useful....but directly coupled to my phone it would be super unwieldly.
EDIT: Did a quick search and found this.

Weird Gadget review: BlackBerry-style wireless keyboard (Trust 17930)
In light of my unhealthy tendency to make rash decision, especially when it comes to gadget or anything technology-adjacent, I guess I might as well get the most out of it, and actually write down if those gadgets are worth it or not :shrug...www.louis993546.com
I’ve had an iPhone for years and don’t like the on screen keyboard. Did like BlackBerry’s keyboard. But not interested in making my phone bigger.Apparently I am one of the only people here that supports this. For those that like the on screen keyboard, great. Not everyone has great success with typing on it. I preordered mine, excited for it to arrive end of April beginning of May.
And upgrading your phone yearly is not?
*rationalising calculations in 3..2..
Sure I get that. Each person has their own use case and wallet to consider.
Sure I get that.
It’s a matter of priority and/or cash flow.
Everyone has their own bonfire in that sense.
I just saw some irony in complaining about price while at the same time displaying a spending pattern that is not very frugal in itself.
I'm not sure if Seacrest actually had any meaningful patents on the idea... but his company, Typo, was basically sued out of existence by Blackberry because their product was too similar to the Blackberry design.I thought Ryan Seacrest owned the patent on this.
Same way as a Mac keyboard presumably. Hold down the key and the options come up on the screen. How does it handle umlauts?
No day 1 in interviews they said starting with iPhone and already working on versions for the top Android phones.I also need to type umlauts and found this video:
It's a bit…surprising that the announcement of this keyboard was featured on every blog that I follow, but there seems to be only this one lone YouTuber who has posted hands-on content 🤔
(Had to retype this comment on my Mac after my iPhone deleted it because of whatever cursed touchscreen gesture bug bit me today)
