So I read that while bond is retired, a woman will play as 007. Bond will always be bond. 007 is just a title.

Yeah, there was a controversy for a while about there being a "female" James Bond, but that was pretty misleading
From what little I read, you are correct... Bond retires and the 007 title was reassigned to a woman, so really not the same thing

I think that the fear is that the 007 assigned to a female could be seen as a trojan horse for a 007 Jane Bond in the future. Who knows. Usually this stuff doesn't work well, hopefully the writers will not make it something just for the sake of it.

Wasn't it Buzzfeed that reported that first? It isn't like they do any quality reporting outside their long form journalism which rivals some of the best in the industry.

Let's focus on Sony and Disney squeezing each other's balls in the public sphere and setting their fans on the others' fans and company. Good lord.

We now have a name. "No Time to Die"

Billie Eilish, 18, who released the theme sone for No Time to Die this month, is now the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.

Originally, Daniel Craig stated about two years ago that he was not interested in doing another bond film on one of the ‘late-night shows’, but then was convinced to do so when the directing was taking a different course.

Altogether, I just watched a movie with him last night, ‘knives out’ (Decent film, slightly long winded), and I don’t think Daniel Craig gets talked about enough, how talented he is not just as a James Bond character, but in overall other roles he portrays.

Dream House (2011) was interesting, related to The Others (2001) and Sixth Sense (1999).

The movie opens Thursday, April 9 in my area. I just got my tickets.

Bond will be OK as always, but I really go to see Q in action!

James Bond Fans Want No Time to Die’s Release Postponed Over Coronavirus
Well, at least two James Bond fans want it postponed.

I think most fans would want to see a finished film as early as they can.

Movie has been pushed back to November 25.
That's actually more in keeping with it's older release dates.

There used to be a running joke, what can you look forward to in Novemeber?

James Bond and a new Call of Duty game.

It should help the Xmas numbers as well.

I just remember it being a sort of tradition for consecutive films when I was a kid. It sort of became a claimed timed for Bond movies, and others avoided it.

I believe this movie was originally supposed to be a November 2019 release before the delays.

Perhaps the plot of the next Bond film will be that an evil megalomaniac who owns the world's biggest streaming media company wants to destroy the movie-theater industry by spreading a deadly respiratory virus. James Bond will defeat him by jumping out of helicopters, chasing women, misusing hi-tech gadgets, and careening around European cities in a souped up sports car.
