I guess they don't want to risk a streaming release. Makes sense, I can't picture any of those direct to stream movies came close to their expected theater returns.
Any films during these covid times will have their returns seriously impacted. The loss for NTTD will be in the multiple hundreds of millions no matter when it eventually screens.

Major film producers can ride the losses and continue to stall. Are they losing money? Sure. But not nearly the level thats affecting smaller independent film producers and the movie theater industry will continue to have to adapt and adjust.

I personally don't care if it gets delayed more, as long as it is good when it finally gets released.

I remember almost a year ago it when it was delayed, it was thought it was because of the virus, but later it came out that it would have been delayed anyways do to poor test screenings and reshoots related to the test screenings.

When the next Bond film is finally released, whenever that will be, hopefully they get it right, making it worth the wait.

No Time to Die is finally going to open here in the U.S. next week.

As you all know, this Bond film stars Ben Whishaw, who of course plays the lead character Q.

(For the record, there are also some other actors in the movie, like Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, and Naomie Harris, but they play minor roles compared to Q.)

⬆️ Actually, it’s not officially being released widespread in the U.S, it’s actually in limited theaters, due to pandemic guidelines. California seems to operate a bit different on their own guidelines.

John de Lancie needs to play Q once in a Bond movie. Just for the joke of it.

OK, I'll be sure to post details after I see it, to spoil the plot for everyone else. ;)

At long last, I saw No Time to Die today. Here's how it ends:

No, I'm not going to tell you! :)

How did you like it?

My two favorite film critics on YouTube seem to like it, but not love it:

Based off of both of them not hating it, I think I am going to see it in the theater.

I just learned an important lesson, don’t reply to a post with a spoiler unless you want to see the spoiler.
It is really hard to avoid spoilers, they are everywhere.

I stopped watching most movie trailers due to big spoilers right in the trailers. After watching the Terminator Salvation trailer, I started to avoid all them, or at least movies that I was excited for. The trailer had a huge spoiler, something that would have been nice to discover during the movie.

I'm not very discriminating. I like all Bond films because they are Bond films, with the great music, gadgets, and action sequences. Most of all I like the character named after me ("Q"), and I was pleased that the character (played by Ben Whishaw) has a significant role in this movie.
