Shock news a football manager sent to the stand ie sent off uses phone to talk to assistant manager. No one mentions which brand of phone. Headline grabbing or what. Had this been a non Apple devise would it even have been mentioned? No.

This is an Apple site. And by the way, what's the picture of Tim doing here? Is MacRumors suggesting he helped the Sox steal? Tim's a Southern boy.

How exactly is Tim Cook stealing jobs from Americans?

Trump wants the miserable low-wage factory jobs HERE!

How is he not? Products are manufactured in China and he imports illegal immigrants to the USA to work cheaper. Building a wall doesn't begin to address the problem. CEOs like Cook belong in prison for treason.
Considering that iPhones were never built here to begin with, and that there is not enough skilled labor in 'Merica who'd be willing to build iPhones for the wages they pay in China, I'd say not a single job was "stolen". And I'm am certain that Apple doesn't make it a policy to hire illegal immigrants. Take a class on international business, or even just read The Wealth of Nations, and get back to me when you understand how the world actually operates so we can have a real discussion about this.

Fake News

By the time someone got the Watch to wake up, open the app, find the sign, then open the messaging app, text the sign, then that person open their messaging app and finally signal the play....

The game would've been played in its entirety from start to finish.

I'm just gonna leave this here :)

Ask the workers who's company went to S.America or Mexico or China if they were more miserable with or without a job. Ask the workers in BMW SC plant or Mercedes AL plan or Nissan's TN plant if they are miserable. Heck ask any of Ford, GM, or Chrysler's workers if they are getting low wages.

Just because you might have a different education and hold a different kind of job doesn't make factory work miserable. Some people enjoy it. I know a lot of miserable attorneys that hate their job and also don't really make a ton of money. School teachers don't make a whole lot in most jurisdiction. Most are not miserable even if they are underpaid.

So don't put down jobs just because you wouldn't do it. I wouldn't collect trash for a living but my trash man comes 3x week and very happy too. And he knows what's what too.

Well let's start small with supposed home run records. You are right there is no cheating in baseball. Oh wait, that's crying... no crying in baseball. Cheating is OK. /sarc.
Why start at home run records...? Bonds was never proven.

Let's start in the hall of fame. Woman abusers, alcoholics, greenies addicts (who stole hundreds of bases annually because of the drugs).

No of course not and belichick never videotaped other teams practices. they were just fined, suspended, and stripped of draft picks for the hell of it.

And still came back from 25 down to beat Atlanta! And let's not forget Seattle.

Well... at least they weren't caught doping, that seems to be the norm for sports with lots of money, or match fixing or race fixing..
I hate it when they cheat, it dishonours the game and sports for the fans... or anyone up coming in sports.

I have this picture in my head of Bill Belichick sitting in a nice chair smoking a cigar saying "Nice"

Maybe I'm missing something, but this sounds like the "used an Apple Watch to steal signs" portion of this story could be summarized as "the people stealing signs sent a text message to a person in the dugout. That person happened to be wearing an Apple Watch".

Clickbait headline, much?

the MLB bans all other electronic devices such as phones, walkie talked etc but specifically allowed the use of the Apple Watch. Hence the headline.

They may start banning the Apple Watch as well because of this.

They are not allowed to look at things like scouting data or communicate with anyone other than designated people during a game.

Yeah, the title made me feel more like they hacked the watch of the guy giving the hand signals and determined what the play was, when it's likely more of the sophistication of a text.

This really might have come in handy in 2004 when the Yankers were up 3-0. Good thing the Yankers held on to win, oh wait....
