My Apple Watch falls off often . Today it fell and cracked . I’ve had it 4 months now . The band that it comes with isn’t secure .

If you're putting the band on the correct way, and if it still "falls off often", I'd ask how tight you're getting it? I could see it coming apart if you're putting it on way too tightly. You should be able to comfortably get a finger under the band when it's on. Beyond that, it sounds like something is really wrong. I have 20+ bands and change them daily and have NEVER had the watch fall off or even come close. The vast majority of those aren't even Apple bands, but third-party stuff off Amazon. I can't say I've ever run across a band that I would describe as "not secure".

If all else fails, look into a Sport Loop and some other type of band that fastens in a more secure fashion. I can't imagine your watch would "just fall off" with a Sport Loop since unlike the Sport Band, the loop is just a single piece.

I have the edition and one day was sporting a new band that matched my shirt perfectly. As I was getting ready to leave the watch was overcome by gravity.
Panic set it followed by a thorough inspected.
Luckily there was no damage.
The next stop was at the trash can where the third party band was deposited.
That too marked the day I stopped buying 3rd party bands

I have had probably 20-25 different third party (think Amazon, and CHEAP) bands for my Apple Watches (Series 0, 2, 3, and 4) and have never had one come undone or fall off. I think you had very bad luck. Did you determine how the band failed?

Yes micro cracks on holes

Here is the damage done:

It literally just fell off/Came unsnapped. You know how you snap it in the holes? It just undid itself. The first time happened while I was walking. The second time, when I caught it, it happened when I was standing talking to a friend and had my hand gripping my backpack sling/thing you put over your shoulder.
Not to be sarcastic but it looks like the band is on wrong, that why maybe?

That was already addressed in Post #16 in this thread. The band was inserted incorrectly.
The same thing happened to me. I got my watch back from Apple Repair and the genius bar guy put the band on backwards, but I didn't realize it for a month, until all of a sudden the band was trying to slide off. Drove me crazy, trying to clean it, etc. It's the leather band with the weird fake buckle attachment thing. Then looked on here about a band half being on backwards. Presto, change-o, that fixed it!!!!

I can relate to many on this thread. My story- 2 month old S5 Watch. Original black, sport band that came with watch slid off from the point of connection to watch while running/jogging. Not the "strap-to-strap" connection, the place where it slides into the metal grove on the watch body. Anyway- Watch goes flying, lands on asphalt surface, screen badly cracked & chipped. Went to Apple store. After a lot of inspection and several people trying to get the band to work, I was told- "Yep, its a defective band/locking mechanism. Nope, we're not going to fix or replace the watch." Apparently, their interpretation of the 1 year warranty only covers the "defective part"- the band. The shattered watch is "accidental damage" and isn't covered. That will cost $299 to replace. Which is pretty much what I've come to expect from this *#$% company.
