It's a fair question. I'm in New Zealand, which has no Apple Stores, and I'd like a new battery replacement for my old iPhone 6Plus my wife is using.
Where/Who do I take it to? How much will it cost? I tried looking on the Apple NZ website but it's useless.
The Apple response, and offer, only covers the USA so far...

Not true! Most countries where Apple has stores the process is the same. You should contact an authorized service center and the must know by now.

and that cost me $200 + the monthly warranty fee that I was already paying for a year.

are you paying that monthly fee to Apple or your carrier.

Fights over who is Apple fan and who isn't aside, I still kind of do not understand non-Brazilians here mocking Brazil for demanding Apple to provide better instruction and explanation for battery replacement service. Does that hurt any of you?

no it doesn't and yes its a dick move to be all mocking. I love Apple products as the next person but I'll admit that sometimes Apple can pull bad moves. not being upfront about the effects of a degraded battery is one of them. not at least saying "hey so we are launching this in the US now and over the next handful of weeks we'll be going international" from the start was also a bad move.
