It's only "days away" too! Maybe we'll see 6G in 5000 days.Apparently 6G is only “years away.”

Sure, the tech and service plans are already and available. But not necessarily available everywhere or providing the service performance it's promising at all and pretty far away from it's supposed "peak time".
Interestingly, if my memory serves me right, 4G still haven't reached its full capability up to this day and there still is a distance (quite a distance) from its theoretical top speed.
Yep. I have plenty of LTE coverage most of the time (Verizon), but it still doesn't do me any good when congestion slows it to a crawl. Faster theoretical speeds means nothing to me. Many times I can turn off LTE and get faster speeds on the 3G network, which is totally bonkers. I literally don't care one bit about 5G right now, and probably won't for a couple years.I don’t understand the 5G craze, LTE is more that sufficient for most people. Not to mention, some networks aren’t even fully done rolling out LTE, why begin another project? AT&T’s LTE is so poor in my area.

If this is actually going to happen, they'll have to announce it in the next day or so.
5G is supposed to handle congestion better than LTE. However, that is dependent upon the implementation of course.Yep. “dollarydoos”. I’m guessing that’s Australian? (Your icon appears to show Sydney.) Prices there are pretty steep, indeed!I’lol be surprised if (a return to) the flat-edged design appeals to me. But that’s ok because I purchase discontinued models anyway, so I can still upgrade to an 11 Pro Max.
Apple’s new prices are just insane. Never thought it could cost more than 1k dollarydoos for an iPhone let alone above $2k. The highest is a whopping 2.5k for a 512 GB Pro Max!
Just to nitpick, that was the iPad 8.yup there's that too from the iPad air keynote.
AT&T changed their name around 1994, so they are just the initials Now.Haha! No-one calls BT, "British Telecom" any more. It's like calling AT&T, "The American Telephone and Telegraph Company".
I totally forgot that there was an ipad 8 announcement. haha.Just to nitpick, that was the iPad 8.

It’s called progress/innovation etc plus the demand for the 5G iPhone should be the biggest ever for Apple.
I agree about the 5G craze... 4G LTE works perfectly for me 98% of the time now since lower frequencies have been opened up in my country meaning better coverage.
It's just another "new" technology, although it is definitely taking longer and will need a lot of work to get it where they dreamed it to be
Depending on your carrier, I wouldn’t get too excited over 5G. You can check on your carriers website for 5G coverage in your area. Also, consider the extra $ for you to have a 5G plan. So, When is the iPhone is being released? I thought 5G was already out?
What’s more fun is having full bars yet still not being able to transceive data.So 5G will fix your poor LTE?
5G can go longer distances(the mid frequencies), which means your poor AT&T LTE, if upgraded to 5G would have much better signal, without them having to add new towers and such. I'm excited for 5G for the better coverage, not the speed.I don’t understand the 5G craze, LTE is more that sufficient for most people. I was thinking before this month is over.I think it’s a safe bet that they will announce the iPhone during the first two weeks of October.
Apple will not want to compete with the US election cycle which ramps up heavily the second half of October through the first part of November. They need to get good press out before the election news wave takes over. Late November is too late to announce all their new products and still have them ready before the holiday season.
October 5-6 or 12-13 are the most likely days.

Not yet.I thought Eddie Cue retired from Apple?
