Hi my Apple Watch has started playing up and I can’t work out why I’ve tried cleaning the crown and checked the battery for swelling nothing! Any ideas?

Have you tried rebooting? If so, what about unpairing it and reconnecting both with a restore and without?

If this issue continues after all that then the watch itself may be damaged.

that looks like a pretty major crack/scratch in the bottom left, it's possible that's activating the touch screen, since it keeps trying to scroll down.

It’s not a crack but of fluff 😅 there are a couple of scuff marks on the corners shall we say taking of the digitiser off maybe point in the direction of the fault? Or at least rules it out? Never taken one off that wasn’t broken what are the odds of taking it off and being fine enough to put back on?

Excellent guess. I had something similar happen with my iPhone 7 when the digitizer wasn’t reacting from touching the display precisely (The Display wasn’t seated properly), and it invoked different Responses opening the wrong apps, which is common with damaged displays.

I removed the touch from the display it wasn’t that 😂 think it’s the crown if I hold it in it stops I have no idea how to fix that tho

not sure why you keep laughing at us, on the video it looked like a scratch, and the video was moving all over the place and hard to see anything really.

that would have been helpful info easier,

try cleaning it, turn it off, hold it under warm running water, and spin and press the crown

more details here

Yep, from the green scroll bar it looks like this is a problem with your Digital Crown. I would suggest you try cleaning it yourself, and if that doesn’t work, go ahead and buy a new watch. Repairing this one will be more money than it’s worth, as the Digital Crown is one of the most intricate mechanisms in the entire watch.
