... it seems that in China...

This explains the whole story, and your user name! (傻屄)

Everyone wants a pink iPhone here, you should be delighted and gracious that your relative was able to secure such a hot commodity. Also I'm sure you know, the return policy in China for nearly anything, anywhere is horrendous.

No fapiao? no chance.

I'm amazed you managed the exchange, good job!

EDIT:

You mean to say you didn't want to rock this?

Yikes at the use of oriental to describe a person in 2015.

This term is only a problem in the US. In the UK it is still commonly and non-offensively used as the term "Asian" generally refers to those from India or Pakistan.

My father wears pink (male version of pink) polos and button-down shirt. Does that make him look [gay-ish]? I wear deep/blood red. What's the big deal??

This is just a matter of your own taste mate. If you like it, use it. Don't?! Then don't.

The only reason i wont buy 'rose gold' (or gold\silver color) coz i dont like the white front panel it come with, wish there was a white\black option for each color.

That been said, i would be happy to get any color iPhone as a free gift.

I'm a guy and I actually now wish that I had jumped on the Rose Gold; it's trendy, it's cool, it's a great conversational piece, and it's different. Different is great!

Haha yeah.
Do guys like the pink one better in China though? I haven't seen too many pink around Beijing.

However people choose to fight it or rationalise it, those men who own a pink phone are going against the unwritten code. Pink is for girls. That's how it always used to be, and in the main still is. Some macho and trendy types have flouted this unwritten law by wearing pink shirts and sweaters before, and certain people can carry it off. Pink phones though, even though there's no law that says men can't have them...that's really pushing boundaries. Maybe the launch of the pink Apple iPhone will change everything and pink will no longer be considered feminine.

Maybe not though. Many will still think of very young girls in pink ballerina outfits, teenage girls with pink trainers, and of course lipstick. Pink is still firmly in the female camp unless you're bold enough to challenge the status quo. Some men will think why bother though. Wear some pink panties instead.:p

i have a rose gold iphone. my friends make fun of me about IT, my wife cracks on me....I HAVE NO REGRETS....THIS COLOR IS AWESOME...

I'm a 27 year old MAN and I got the rose gold. I like it to be honest and it is NOT pink. It is copperish brown / gold depending on the lighting. It's a unique colour and I don't think any guys penis would turn to vagina after buying this colour.

I'd like to clarify that i did not start this thread because I think that a pink/rose gold iPhone turns anyone into a girl or a homosexual.
Rather, it was started in jest after I was stuck with a rose gold iPhone until I was able to exchange it.
It's a matter of personal preference whether someone likes pink, green, yellow, neon purple, or whatever.
I personally prefer black color on most things, and the color pink is normally used more often by females, so I was wondering if a lot of guys liked the pink iphone.
I think it's great that some guys like and own the rose gold and I don't think it makes them less masculine in any way.

If that's all it took I would expect that sales would be astonishing. The phone is cheaper than the surgeries ;)

In any culture where a man is confident in his own sexuality and doesn't care one iota what people with small minds full of prejudices and insecurities think.

I love seeing a man in a gray suit with a pink shirt. Makes my knees wobble. Expecially with a close beard.
Had that outfit on yesterday!!! Felt great!!

There are plenty of Rose Gold items, like other makes of watches or jewellery that are far less pink. In fact its more of a copper colour normally. I think Apple should have gone for the copper rose gold colour because then it would have appealed to both women and men equally. I think its absolutely fine for a man to have any colour he likes and if he likes the rose gold iPhone then why on Earth not. BUT, I think Apple would have hit a home run in popularity of the colour if they had chosen the more traditional coppery rose gold.

I just got a new gift from a relative.
Good news was that it was 64GB, not 16.
Bad news was that it wAs the "Rose gold" (ahem, pink) iPhone 6S Plus.

Because I'm abroad, I'm not sure if the Apple Store will let me exchange it to space grey.

Are there any other bros with a pink iPhone?

Real men can pull off the Rose Gold. Challenge accepted?

With a case on you won't even be able to tell and the resale value will be higher because every oriental person wants the faux rose gold (spray painted aluminum).

What are they, a rug? Asian, correct term is Asian...and what a racist comment.
