Bugs in iOS 8 GM

On my 5s, I have a noticable delay when closing an app via the home button. The phone does nothing for maybe half a second before the animation starts. Anyone else?
 
In the messages app the status bar does not disappear with full screen attachments
Siri/shazam doesn't work
 
Bugs in iOS 8 GM

I can no longer set how the Notification Center is showed in the lock screen.
Before I update from iOS 7 to iOS 8 the today's view access from lock screen was set to off.
But now I can't change it, since there's no such option.

Do you still have the toggle to set today's view available in lock screen?
 
The framerate of control center and notification center is very low when opened from the lock screen (iPhone 5).
 
iPhone doesn't show up on iTunes over Wifi anymore

Before updating to iOS 8 my iPhone would show up on my iTunes top bar if connected to power and have "Back-up over Wifi" enable. After iOS 8 update this is no longer the case. iPhone doesn't back-up over wifi anymore and doesn't show up on the iTunes top bar anymore whether it's connected to power or not.

Still sync and back-up if connected to MacBook with lightning cable though

Anyone else?
 
still have an issue with my iphone 5 that when I push the home button once it sometimes registers as twice. tried resetting it and everything and still happens. never noticed it will running ios 7.

Its like this on iPad Air as well. The iPod touch was even worse on iOS 7. Buttery smooth performance even on newest devices is pretty much a thing of the past all for a blurring effect the GPU obviously cant handle with ease. Blurring is a very heavy task for even Photoshop to do on a desktop PC. Not sure why apple put blurs all over the place on the iPad with such a high resolution and 3 million pixels to push around.
 
Anyone else having weird diagnostic errors? I fresh installed on my 5S, and I have a ton of stacks+backboardd errors that say "thermal data unavailable."

Then you're not looking closley enough. This problem has been around since iOS 7.1. Try swiping between Today and Notifications locked and unlocked, you'll surely see the difference.

Settings > Passcode > Allow Access When Locked
 
installed GM and opted to "upgrade" to iCloud Drive when I was prompted since I'm running Yosemite Preview 2. Now for the last 24+ hours I have had the loading icon and "Upgrading..." under iCloud Drive. :mad:

I was seeing this in my lock screen as well. Did you perhaps do the restore coming from beta 5? I was reading somewhere that restoring a backup you made while running a beta release might be the cause.

Mine was still showing this after 24 hours so I just cancelled the restore under iCloud. Message went away. All my apps and settings seemed to have been restored so I think I'm ok. Ran another icloud backup to overwrite the old one that might have been the source of the problem.

I'm the same. I was happy to start fresh so I haven't run into any of these issues so far. Pleased my battery seems to be lasting a whole lot longer than it was doing on iOS 8 beta 5 which is great.

iPhone 5s if you're wondering.

This is completely normal for iOS 8, it happened in all the betas also.

But you could try recalibrating your home button:
  1. open a stock iOS app
  2. press your iPhone’s power button until the ‘slide to power off’ screen appears
  3. press and hold your Home button until iOS force quits the stock app you have open
  4. you are finished

I am right now on my 5. It's fluid both locked and unlocked.

I can record the screen if you'd like?
 
When flipping through a folder with multiple pages the icons don't immediately show. I first get an empty page and then they suddenly appear. I had a few random boot screens too. Also sometimes Spotlight won't close when swiping up, I have to press cancel instead. The animation is pretty laggy as well.
