Not sure if it's a bug per se, but it's an annoyance.

On my iPhone (uk carrier: Tesco mobile) i don't have the option to enable 3G. It's always on, I'm only given the option to enable Cellular or 4G.

Its not a bug, since 4G/LTE you are only 'permitted' to them off, not 3G.

Using an iPad Air w/ 3G capability but without an actual SIM installed.
Getting the "No SIM Card Installed" pop ups every x minutes.
(only happened going out of Airplane mode in iOS7)

Funny bug... Open spotlight, Select the description text (which you shouldn't be able to do), and close spotlight...
The selector dot stays on your screen.

Anyone else having weird diagnostic errors? I fresh installed on my 5S, and I have a ton of stacks+backboardd errors that say "thermal data unavailable."

Hi,
the same problem here. Lots of errors. I am on iPhone 5 - fresh install.

Guess this is why Apple is apparently getting ready to seed iOS 8.0.1 to testing partners. I can't handle ios 8 gm ATM, I will be waiting for 8.0.1 or even 8.1

installed GM and opted to "upgrade" to iCloud Drive when I was prompted since I'm running Yosemite Preview 2. Now for the last 24+ hours I have had the loading icon and "Upgrading..." under iCloud Drive.

ended up signing out of icloud and this got rid of the message. icloud wasn't updated to drive tho. i'll just leave it like that for now

When you take a video in snapchat, it ends up being in slow motion at like 10 frames per second. Hopefully this will be fixed by Wednesday.

I restored as new and still have the Dynamic Wallpaper bug, where it doesn't load in the Preview of the wallpaper.

That happened to me but upon waiting for a few seconds longer it started to work and now it works fine. They only thing I can maybe say is a bug is whenever I have an app that has an update there is no red badge icon in the App Store to show how many apps there are waiting to update. I have to go into the app to see how many.

maybe we will be getting a iOS 8 GM 2 and be rebranded as iOS 8.0.1? this was the case with iOS 4.2 GM

unless they fix shazam integration server side?

maybe we will be getting another GM to fix the shazam issue? and be re-branded as iOS 8.0.1?
Assuming Shazam is an issue and not just a simple product/feature decision. That said, chances are there will be 8.0.1 released at some point in the near future anyway.

http://9to5mac.com/2014/09/10/siri-what-song-is-this-the-ios-8-gm-doesnt-have-a-clue/

this article says it is coming back next week? either server side, new GM build this week or the public release build will be slightly different then the GM we currently have?
Well, assuming it's coming back, could be a server-side change, or just in the form of 8.0.1 that would be available the day iOS 8 officially launches or at least when iPhone 6 launches. Possibly another GM, but that's less likely.

Its not a bug, since 4G/LTE you are only 'permitted' to them off, not 3G.

Well how come on iOS 7.1.2 I had a 3G toggle? I don't want to be forced to have 3G always on because it decreases standby time and is unnecessary

Not sure if someone has said this already, but when I go to:

Settings --> Notification Center --> Calendar --> Any choice --> Sound

and set a sound other than None and press back, the sound automatically defaults to None.

Any insights?

Still have issues on 5S where my messages will not be marked as unread until I exit and then go back into the thread.

A couple on iPad Air
1. Going into frequent locations in the location and clicking back or other settings tab causes settings app to crash.
2. If you enable reduce transparency, the keyboard in Safari doesn't show the pressed keys feedback.
3. In Safari, if the page has to reload because there are too many tabs, it display a blank page until you create a new blank tab.

This is completely normal for iOS 8, it happened in all the betas also.

But you could try recalibrating your home button:
  1. open a stock iOS app
  2. press your iPhone’s power button until the ‘slide to power off’ screen appears
  3. press and hold your Home button until iOS force quits the stock app you have open
  4. you are finished
Hmmm I don't think so. Do you guys have the triple click accessibility shortcut on? That WILL delay the response time of your home button, and it is VERY annoying.
