Bugs in iOS 8 GM

Deleting multiple reminders linked to Exchange ActiveSync causes this UI glitch

It's not a bug. With iOS 8 you got new carrier settings that support LTE. I don't know why, but since introducing iPhone 5, Apple prevents users from turning off 3G.

It worked on the 5 and 5S though... But just thinking aloud, switching off 3G should be available when you think about it, it kills the battery. Apple even say leaving 3G may decrease battery life.

I have an iPhone 5s and cannot turn off 3G on iOS 8 GM, just LTE.
 
I'm getting funky app updates today. So the update shows up and installs. But if I exit and re-enter the app store theres still a prompt to update. I had to do go through 4-5 install cycles for the apps to finally update. This was with whatsapp, adobe, over, geekbench. Hope its just a server glitch.

Experienced this as well on iPhone 5, iOS 8 GM.

As I recall it was like this in the early 7.0 days as well. Remember experiencing it then for a week or so and running into it now as well.

That, because your carrier settings on 7.1.2 didn't have LTE support. For some reason Apple thinks that you don't need 2G when your carrier supports LTE.
I had the same issue with T-Mobile in Poland after updating to 7.1.2. Fortunately I was able to revert to the old settings. But it probably won't be possible with iOS 8 because of compatibility issues.

Darn. That's dumb.
 
Multitasking switch has to be fixed.
Calendar and weather in NC need to update in background. (2 hours ago I added an event on my mac, just opened the NC on my iPhone and it took 10 seconds to realize that..)

Hoping in for an update on day 1.
 
Is discarding notifications buggy for you as well? In iOS 7 I often discarded notifications by swiping them away (up). In iOS 8 the behavior seems to be very random. Sometimes it works as it worked previously, sometimes I need to press the home button to discard the notification (very weird, only the notification goes away, app remains opened), sometimes the notification won't go away at all. Very annoying. 🙁
 
Health is messed up in the UK as it uses KM instead of MI. I changed region to the US and got the correct reading, yet go back to UK and it still reads KM.

Does this affect anyone else?

Are you talking about Kilometres and Miles? If so the UK is supposed to be on the metric system, we just haven't fully converted. The App should really give you the choice though as many nations have a bit of a mish mash of measurements.

Yeah. I know it's not really a 'bug' per se, but it is a bit annoying. Having the choice in-app seems like the most sensible solution.
 
DND is not working?

I set DND - up till now (GM) this mutes all notifications, etc.

Now, when i set DND, it still allows (at least email) notifications through. I haven't tested other notifications.

Those are Apple's and Google's fault. The app isn't fully compatible with iOS 8 AND iOS 8 has a bunch of video display issues. For example, when I play a video anywhere in Safari in landscape and then press Done, the top of the screen shifts up in portrait. It's a mess.
 
Not sure if a bug or feature, but I have a widget (Duolingo) that displays nothing.

Sometimes no app preview for one application ( normally second from left ) in task switcher.

Sometimes can't copy current URL in safari.

Seems to be more obvious bugs in IOS8 than previous releases.

Also - Apple Store app - sometimes login dialog appears mostly off the screen! Seems like an auto layout issue...

happens the same to me..
try swiping down the missing preview and you'll notice that is "just" on the top of the screen...

we need 8.0.1 as soon as possible.
 
bluetooth is broken somehow.. malfuctioning with my AUDI and the iOS Health App does not show any data while the step counters do.. very strange 😱
