Has anyone seen this in iOS 8? I am using Yosemite PB2, iTunes 12b2, and iOS 8 GM on and iPad Air. The TV tab will not display artwork but the MOVIES tab does.

That happens for me too. Annoying in use, but not as much as my WiFi issues. Though come to think of it, it hasn't happned so much today.

App Store

I don't know if this is actually a bug, but App Store won't load anymore. Tabs for Explore, Featured, Top Charts and Search are left empty. I can only see the Purchases section.

This occurrence persists even after wiping off the iPhone, setting as a new phone, and then restoring from my Mac's backup.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Same thing since a couple of days, only one that will load is US Store. They might be releasing them on Wednesday.

I'm sure this has been said already but when I'm looking at a photo the status bar (carrier, LTE, clock, battery indicator) is still there when it's not suppose be.

Having the exact same problem, have you found a solution.
Says connected, but when making a call it is only through the handset, even though it says car on handset.

Sigh! This issue is back with me :( received another call from myself again this morning through my car and when I tried to answer it, all that happened was that the audio came through the phone and not the car. What model car do you have if you don't mind me asking? I have mine booked in for a firmware upgrade in a few weeks, not sure if it will sort the issue though

Since adding iCloud Drive to my iCloud list. I am unable to send iCloud email (@icloud / @me). From any device. It will give me an smtp error.

I saw this error in earlier beta's on an iPad mini.

This is the buggiest release I've seen. I wish that I hadn't upgraded. I'm on a 5s and I've had apps crashing like crazy, wifi stops working until I restart the phone, imessage and SMS messages sometimes arent sending or receiving, the maps app freezes on a certain image and I have to close it out and start again, Facetime app keeps a "1" badge up even though there are no notifications, Facetime app shows a phone number instead of the associated contact. There are more, but I can't think of them now. I absolutely loathe this update. I also lost all my pics in my photo stream.

Did you restore as a new device? Or upgrade from iOS 7.1.2?

I am not having any of these problems on my 5s. The only real issue I've had is the Facebook app freezing, but it has had similar issues for a while.

It sounds like you did a plain upgrade, have you tried a fresh restore?

Either way, you still have the option of downgrading to iOS 7.1.2 while Apple is still signing it.

I just did the upgrade, I didn't restore. Is that not how you're supposed to be able to do it?

You can upgrade. But troubleshooting 101 suggests that if you are having issues, you should try a clean install.

Bugs in iOS 8 GM

Anyone noticed when updating apps, the round graphical circle on the app being updated does not appear on that app? And neither the blue dot that alerts a user of an updated app. Is it just me or everyone else noticing this?

I've done two clean installs and started as a new phone on my iPhone 5s A1533 and I continue to have these annoying issues;

  1. Safari random crashes when opening tabs
  2. MMS failing to send (mostly to Android users) - reboot usually resolves until it occurs again
  3. iMessages failing to send randomly - reboot usually resolves until it occurs again
  4. Messages app crashes randomly
  5. Siri not responding or not audible at all when using - a reboot SOMETIMES resolves until it occurs again
  6. Lag all over the place. It not as fast as 7.1.2 that's for sure.

Weird glitch i found on youtube lol. Image

Youtube via the App or Safari?

I seem to be having issues with Bluetooth and my car. With iOS 7 I could hook my phone up to my car and make and receive calls as you'd expect. Now when I make or receive a call, the Audio will only come through my phone and not the car. Also when I receive calls it says they are coming from myself and not the actual caller :-/

Yep, I can play audio from music or podcast apps fine through my car's Bluetooth but no phone call audio. Super annoying as I need to be on the phone a lot when I'm in the car.

Not sure if it's a bug per se, but it's an annoyance.

On my iPhone (uk carrier: Tesco mobile) i don't have the option to enable 3G. It's always on, I'm only given the option to enable Cellular or 4G.

I am having the same issue. I'm on O2 in the UK. On iOS 7.1.2 I can enable mobile data, 3G or 4G. On iOS 8 I can't turn off 3G. Only data and 4G. Annoying. It kills the battery.
